So I’ve had the salmon salad before from this restaurant via uber eats or maybe a co-worker picked it up I honestly don’t recall the only thing I can recall is that it was pretty good. The salmon was tender, lettuce,cucumbers & tomatoes were finely chopped (4 1/2 out of 5). This time I decided to place an order over the phone for pick up. First, I was told that the store does not take orders over the phone. I explained to the employee that it was not going to be an issue and I promised him that I would be there to pick it up in a timely matter and he was nice enough to allow me to place the order. This time the salmon was just OK but as far as actually salad, the lettuce, were chopped in big clumps/pieces, so the rest of the vegetables and they added green sweet peppers. Did not feel like they made it with Love lol. It was a little disappointing. But I must say the size is not bad for the price they charge.

A dear friend sent me dinner from Island Foodie today 8/31/2025. I ordered jerk chicken, peas and rice and plantains. The rice was burnt and tasted as if it was the scrapping from the bottom of the pot. The chicken was dry and tough to eat. I realized it was one of the last orders to go out before they closed for the day. A word of reference for the owners of this establishment. The last plate should be as delicious as the first plate. It was an insult to my mouth.

I don’t even know how many times it’s been that they canceled my order… but this time I placed it hours in advance hoping they would know my order is coming and to have items saved for an order that is technically already payed for. But after a long day of work my pre-planned and payed for meal was canceled. Last time I will be ordering from here. A shame because I love Jamaican food and culture…

I gave 2 ⭐ for the rice and peas it's ok but tell me why the meats is so salt salt bad tell me why the stew chicken supposed to be soft but tuff at the same time fry chicken is ok until it's salt bad I tried the oxtail too dark tht was salt too and the where is fresh salad I dnt eat steam cabbage

The customer service is unreal! I ordered from them online, and unfortunately they were out of an item. They gave me a call and also added a hand-written note stating that they subbed the missing item with something else. I greatly appreciated that!
The food was outstanding. Jerk chicken was moist and flavorful, not too spicy. Chicken patty was fresh and flaky, and it paired well with their soft coco bread.
10/10 for island foodie, will be ordering from them again.

I usually don’t have a problem with them , but last week I ordered through uber oxtail and rice and beans they sent me spoiled food with slime and everything, then they lied to uber and said they prepared it normally although I sent pictures and videos and they lied saying the good was prepared normally. Disgrace .spent $40 this past sunday on spoiled food
