The food is very tasty and good quality. Portion size for the price could be better. I like the attention to detail they put in their packaging, nice service which is hard to find nowadays. Solid place.

This food was good, portion size worth for price. The chicken was nice and well done. I would buy again

Since it’s a food cart chain, I expect some limitations so I won’t go into that. My rating is due to the quality and costs.

Cost wise, it’s over priced for what you’re getting. Especially since there is minimal overhead for a food cart.

Quality wise, everything is burnt. Coming from a fellow Caribbean, the food is just not good. They have good marketing because it smells good and they have nice uniforms but the food isn’t well made. Burnt every time at midtown and queens.

The sides are also not flavorful and lack seasoning. I was disappointed and tried it again and was still disappointed again. Do overall I don’t recommend. There are better Jamaican places to try all over New York especially in Harlem, Brooklyn, Bronx areas.

Absolutely love Jamrock Jerk!! The people working the truck are always friendly. The food is delicious and I especially love their rice and gravy. My favorite platter is the pork platter and the oxtail, if you can catch them before they sell out for the day.

The oxtail was pretty good. Only problem was that for 26 after tax, the portion size of oxtail isn't so good. I wear a small shirt and I wasn't full. The oxtail was cooked perfectly though, soft and tender. The flavor was salt dominant rather than spices but that's forgiveable. I guess I'll go back cause it has a Jamaican monopoly on Austin Street but not often.

Great food, decent portions and fast service. A bit on the expensive side but then again it’s like that everywhere now. Would be 5 stars is more affordable and also if they served the traditional Jamaican steamed cabbage instead of a little salad on the side. Also they give plantains but only 3 pieces, kind of a tease!

the food was great. the spice/heat is minimal, to cater to a broad palate. the people attending the cart were sweet and polite. oxtail was sold out, so we had the chicken. will definitely be back again.

I went to this location stood online with my son and was ignored with servers taking other people orders that was standing behind me so I kindly walked away I will not be treated in such manner when I’m supporting your establishment with my hard earned money also at a glance the chicken looked dry Also the servers females all turned their back when I was going to address that I was online waiting which means they deliberately ignored me

Good food, to order to space is very small, hard to find parking.

Ordered delivery from Jamrock Jerk. I got the stewed oxtail with rice and peas, sweet plantain and salad. The oxtail fell right off the bone. The rice peas is topped with oxtail gravy without the side of attitude. The plantain gives the meal a sweet and savory vibe and the salad is just salad, but the lettuce is crisp. Check it out for yourself!

Ordered just the pork shoulder and added a side of chicken and the box was packed to the brim with meat. The pork was absolutely delicious! Definitely needs the sauce and they gave us plenty of packs of it. The chicken is also good but sometimes a little dried out so I’ll probably just continue to get the pork. We had it at home with veggies we wanted to use up and it was absolutely delicious. The ladies aren’t the warmest but I can’t imagine running that operation on that busy corner surrounded often by obnoxious concert goers is easy. I don’t need that from a food truck anyway as long as the food is good :)

Making this a weekly staple for an easy dinner. People complaining about the prices are nuts, a full meal at McDonald’s is just as much. Eat at home if you don’t want to spend money on quality food.

The chicken has no taste the pork has no taste . Add some salt and flavor. The bbq sauce is mediocre.

I tried the jerk chicken, it was a 10/10, the pork was a 8/10. Jerk chicken was better. Overall, everything else was amazing and it’s really authentic
