I miss your Spanish bar cake.
Jane Parker Baked Goods is one of my favorite holiday treats. It's a perfect balance of sweet and rich and the rum flavor is just subtle enough to make it feel sophisticated. I do recommend toasting the fruitcake before you eat it though!
I can't believe I'm the only person that's ever celebrated my birthday with Jane Parker Baked Goods and it was absolutely delightful. They delivered on time and the cake was delicious. The filling is really something you have to try yourself, it's just so good! The frosting is also to die for- it's not too sweet, but still delightful. If date nut cake sounds good to you, then definitely get in touch
I love Jane Parker Baked Goods! I was looking for a fruitcake recipe and found this page. The rum fruitcake looks delicious and I'm looking forward to trying it out.
I am so disappointed in Jane Parker I would give them a negative 10 if I could. The size of the individually wrapped fruitcake for over $1 a slice would not fill up a Barbie on a diet. What a rip off. I used to buy beautiful Jane Parker fruitcakes from A &P stores and was excited to see that I could bring back memories of my childhood. Another memory gone forever. Shame on you Jane Parker. Bah Humbug.
I received my Spanish Bar Cake today. It’s delicious but a little dry and the packaging could do a makeover. My daddy worked at A&P for 32 years and this takes me back to my childhood. Not worth the 35.00 but it truly is delicious.
