People here are so sweet and there is a real homey vibe. Only got the seafood pancake with the Scallion base. It was nicely seared and the seafood was plentiful. However, it really didn't taste like much at all. For $20, it wasn't that worth, but would be interested in trying other options.

Amazing food, very homemade, and they import the good stuff from Korea! They were out of tteokboki because they hadn’t gotten their shipment from Korea yet. Planning to go back soon and show everyone what it’d be like to live in a Korean household.

I'd say it's 4.5 stars for me! This restaurant seems like a hidden gem? The food tasted fresh and authentic. Service is quite slow but the food came out pretty quickly considering there was just one chef. It's on the pricier side but I would come back again!

I pass by this place all the time on my commute and decided to give it a try. It is a nice, small establishment with a warm atmosphere. Both the side & main dishes were delicious and very filling. The Oyster and the Beef Tofu Stew were my favorites. The prices on some items are a BIT high but fair in my opinion. I will definitely eat here again in the near future!!

Everything is delicious! This is probably the best Korean restaurants I've had at least in NY area. We didn't order anything spicy to accommodate our toddler just so she can try a bit of everything too. We ordered 1. Scallion pancake with cheese as topping. 2 bibimbap with stir fry spicy pork (oops, toddler didn't get to try this one). 3 seafood noodle. It's full of seafood flavor! Not much seasoning but it allows you to taste the fresh ingredients. 4 steamed pork feet. It's so delicious!! Must order! 5. Pork rib soup (non spicy version). At the end of it, we (three adults and one toddler) were so full lol. Btw we were the first table to be seated, so our dishes came pretty fast. That's a huge plus when dining in with a toddler!

The interior of the restaurant is super cute with paintings adorning all the walls. My boyfriend said he really liked the noodles here, so we came. I got galbi tang, his sister got the oxtail soup, and he got the seafood noodles (don't remember what they're called). The banchan here is pretty solid and standard: beansprouts, kimchi, spinach, and odeng. His sister and I got the same base broth, and the soup was very bland. The meat was also really tough and difficult to eat. The seafood noodles were good but on the bland side as well. I think this place has a very clean taste to their food, but I generally prefer my food with more seasoning.

Seeing good reviews, I wanted to try this place. Unfortunately nothing stood out for me except pancakes. It is one of those run of the mill mediocre Korean places in the Flushing area.First off, the menu is confusing at best. I needed to flip back and forth to figure out how I order them. It was especially true when I had to deal with some eyesores since they put incorrect Korean words. This gives out a vibe that the owners are not smart. The lady who seems be the owner got vexed and told me I must know what I want to eat upon stepping into this place. Well, I didn’t know this place exists and the menu is full of nonsense. They don’t seem to possess the fundamentals of Korean cuisine. For example, the food I had doesn’t come with a soup which is, in general, basic in Korean dish. It is obvious that they don’t want to run extra miles to prep soups to make it complete. I could also see them cutting corners here and there. Due to this, this place fails to deliver full meal experience. This is more obvious with the fact that they serve ginger tea instead of water. I know serving various types of tea is typical in Asian restaurants. Given that, this is the first restaurant I have ever had this. I couldn’t figure out what this awful thing was until the lady volunteered telling me it is ginger something and bragged about it. She doesn’t know ginger tea reduces appetite and feeling of hunger.I don’t feel that this place deserves all these raving reviews.

The owner was super nice and helpful, she explained the spiciness and other food so service was beyond expectation. There’s variety of food and most of them look amazing, bibimbap wasn’t available because they bring herbs from Korea so I’m definitely going back again. Some pictures for confused people to show how food looks and how cozy the place is . also their Menu is the cutest and unique.

First review of 2024!! Went for dinner on a Friday around 7pm and it started off not so crowded but then all the tables filled after we came. It is a true mom and pop restaurant. Mom was the waitress and pop was chef in the kitchen. If I'm remembering correctly there are 7 tables that can seat max 20 people and I feel like that's a lot for just a mom and pop working themselves. Hence service was a little slow, but bf and I weren't on a time crunch. We could tell the waitress was a bit stressed. But she was still so nice and friendly. The restaurant is decorated very cute and since the new year just started, all the lights and garland from Christmas were still up. Feels homey. On to the food!! Bf and I ordered samgyetang, bulgogi stir fry with noodles, and the soy sauce marinated raw crab. Overall, it's seasoned on the low salt side which bf and I didn't mind because that's how we cook at home too. Everything tasted healthy and fresh. Banchan were a bit limited here but given it's a smaller restaurant, understandable. I wish the crab claws were cut a little more because they were a bit hard to get the meat out. But it tasted really good especially with the rice. They need prob one more waitress and one helper in the kitchen to speed things up a bit. I probably wouldn't recommend if you're on a time crunch but def a good place to have homey authentic Korean food in a relaxed environment. Thank you for the nice meal!!

A bit disappointed at this place. It definitely seems like a mom and pop shop but the food and side dishes were lacking. It seemed very rushed too. We were the only ones dining.Weekday lunch - had bulgogi soondubu and pork rib soup. Both were bland. Side dishes seemed inconsistent with photos. Fish cake was chewy (most likely been in the fridge for a while). Wasn’t given an option for multigrain rice.I think there could be a lot of improvements made but not a bad spot if you’re in the area and really want a simple home cooked vibe Korean meal. Lots of parking available.

Think twice before coming here around 3 pm. I dropped by with a party of three this Wednesday but the staff didn't want to seat us even though it was a full hour before their 4-5 pm break. I'd understand if it was closer to break time, even half past, but it wasn't. They hemmed and hawed, looking grievously put upon, so I got the hint. Was my first time visit--also my last.

Cozy mom and pop shop. There was only one waitress so service was slow but completely not a problem for us. Take this into consideration when deciding to dine with them, please be patient! The food was really good and some of the best pork belly I've had in a long time. Definitely give them a try.

I really want to keep this place my little secret, but had to share that this might be the BEST seafood pancake I've found in NY so far. Everything tastes homey and like it was made by a Korean grandma. The restaurant decor is very cute and service is always great. The space is pretty small so larger parties might be harder.
