This African restaurant is one of the best I ever went to. Their customer service is excellent and the food is true amazing. If you eat here, trust me you will definitely want to come back. Me and my wife went here and we loved it. We especially enjoyed the jollof rice. I highly recommend it. 5 stars

Food on point! Finally a West African spot that's clean, well designed, with great customer service. New neighborhood gem!

Usually the food is amazing, but today when I called to place an order the guy seemed to be in a bad mood. First I ordered the Snapper and he gave me salmon. The Jollof rice was a bit bland but it was okay. Hopefully the person who took my order has a better day tomorrow.

Wow wow wow this food was goood! I waited almost an hour from the time I ordered to receive the food, but honestly, it was well worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, just so good. I ordered a bunch of stuff just to try everything. I ordered the lamb Shawarma, a chicken Shawarma, the tilapia dish with jollof rice, and the chicken and fish Fatayas, And I also ordered the dessert called thiakry. EVERYTHING WAS SOO GOOD. Im really impressed.

I ordered the lamb and jollof with a side of plantains. 9/10 lamb was tender, food fully seasoned. It was just a little cold because of the distance. Will be ordering again.

Went here today for takeout. I ordered the Dibi Chicken bowl with jollof rice. The food is outstanding. The chicken was well seasoned and the jollof rice was very tasty. The pickled onions that come with the chicken are great. The bowl is a lot of food and more than enough for one sitting. I can be spread out to two meals with some people.

One more thing. Also order the Fataya which are described Senegalese empanadas. That was so well seasoned you won't be disappointed.

I was looking for a new spot to get jollof rice from. I have seen this place for a while and decided to try them out.
First impression: I walked in, and there were three people behind the counter. (Two kids, one adult) All of them heads down in their phones.
Second Impression: The gentlemen behind the counter looked like he had just walked in from outside, street clothes, hoodie on his head pants sagging. No apron on or front count appearance, eg, business or staff shirt.
Third Impression: I asked the counter person what was "DiBi rice," which was on the menu. He said it is lamb. I asked him if it was a seasoning, what was in it? He said he didn't know. I then asked him how much is the jollof rice? He said, $15/16. I asked what size was that, and he showed me a tan, large looking dish. I said ok give me that and he asked with lamb, and I said no, just jollof rice and nothing else. He repeated nothing else, no meat, and I said yep. Eight minutes later, he came with my food in a much smaller container. I open the container to see what the jollof rice looked like. I was disappointed. Why? Because the container was almost the size, and the rice did not look appetizing. At this point, I was ready to go. I said to myself, maybe it tastes better, then it looks. (It didn't and was a bit dry.)
Impression number Four. I have come to learn and understand that Nigerian jollof, Ghanaian jollof, and Senegalese jollof rice are different from one another.

Tonight was my first time here. Placed an order at the kiosk. My order came out to about $40. Waited about 40 mins! My sister and I were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. Around the 30 min mark, I asked how much longer. Soon after, the food was being packed. Communicate with customers to let them know a time frame, especially if they are waiting for a while. This is my first time having fataya, which is basically a Senegalese empanada. It was tasty, but mine had a little bit of chicken filling in it, and my sister had more. 3 should have been added. I had Sengalese jollof before, but it's been awhile. I enjoyed the food. Grease came through the container. It would be a good idea to get plastic containers to prevent this from happening.

The food was a 10 but I don’t like that fact that I had to wait a hour + & I placed my order in advance. I got the Red snapper & jollof rice
