Great staff/owner - family vibe. Great music. Karaoke is fun too with Mel!
This bar has a lot of live bands. Mostly honky tonk, but it's still cool to have live music in this area. As far as food is concerned, they have great hotdogs. Sometimes they will have chips, but mostly hot dogs. Remember, 1 hotdog is a snack, 2 hotdogs are a meal. The service is usually great for a "dive bar". And on Tuesday, they have karaoke, which is the night I usually go. Get there early because the list can get filled very quickly.
Kid-friendliness: On Saturday and Sunday, people will bring their toddlers to the bar for a hotdog and the parents will have a beer or two. Especially in the summer.
