It’s pretty small and cramped up inside. It’s hard to hear yourself speak too. As for the food, I don’t eat pork, and there seemed to be a lot of pork options, so it was kind of a turn off to see that.
Julia’s is a great local spot for drinks & brunch. All the brunch items were good but the Arepas Con Huevos were a real treat. I’ve never seen this brunch item before and it was perfectly balanced with savory and sweet. I would recommend! But again it’s hard to go wrong anyway to go at Julia’s.
Julia’s is a cozy neighborhood spot where no reservations are needed—just walk in. Be prepared for longer wait times during weekend brunch.
A personal favorite is the Toasted Goat, a deliciously simple dish featuring toasted sourdough topped with goat cheese, fig jam, bacon, and honey—a perfect combination of flavors.
