Recently had brunch here. Cute small places. Really optimized for seating. I sat late compared to my party and quickly ordered the Cuban sandwich. Lord have mercy, that’s how good it was. The bread is great and was toasted to perfection. I kept trying to decide which part of the sandwich really rocked it for me. But I couldn’t figure it out because it was as a whole. The mustard maybe? It’s spicy and Rich’s but it wasn’t over powering and it was warm in the sandwich....
Food was amazing. We were turned away from the Peruvian spot down the block and headed here for food sand drinks. We didn’t know what to expect but ended up having the best food and drinks.
Good food and great service. I used to hang out in Ridgewood before it got gentrified and Julia's is probably one of the few places I would visit again. Unlike most of the other places that have opened up throughout Ridgewood, Julia's isnt pretentious and seems to respect the neighborhood vibe, staff is friendly and respectful in an authentic manner. Wish I still lived near by, would be there quite often. Shot out to Byron!
