Went to Kakes for the first time 10/20 as a close out celebration to Libraries season. Thank you Lisa for suggesting this spot! The atmosphere is definitely a vibe, the DJ keepa the hits going, and the food is amazing! Kiyon was my server and he was attentive and knowledgeable, our drinks and food came out fast! I had the shrimp po-boy w/ truffle fries. The sandwich was EVERYTHING! Wish the fries were crinkle cut (they're shoe string). Overall 8.5/10. I'll definitely be back.

We waited 45 minutes to get waters at the table. The food is on the pricier side but would be fine if it was actually made well I wouldn’t go back again the food was over cooked the guacamole was starting to brown the atmosphere is nice tho
