Had a craving for Bengali food and came across this gem. We tried the Chicken, Mutton and Fish curries, along with a couple of Vegetarian dishes, Rice and Kochuri. We also tried the fish fry, cutlets (fish and vegetarian), and a whole bunch of Bengali sweets. Everything was amazing. The Chef/Owner was kind and generous with her time and took great care of us. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Good basic Bengali food. Limited seating. No frills. More options at the restaurant vs. on delivery apps. Friendly/hospitable couple runs the place.

Authentic Bengali food at a very decent price. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The curry options change on a daily basis so make sure to call in if you are looking for something particular.

We loved the food at Kamala Kitchen. The taste and quality of the dishes were amazing. It was pure nostalgia for me to be able to experience authentic Kolkata-style Bengali food in NY. Along with the food, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Overall, the ambiance was warm and casual with awesome food. If you are in NY and love Bengali cuisine, this place is a must-visit.

Excellent food and snacks. Everyone should try out Kochuri and aloo dum. Sweet dishes are the best. Their Roshamolai for me is chanar paesh or rabri is mouth watering. If you want the flavor of West Bengal and it’s aristocratic foods, Kamala Kitchen is the place I will recommend.

I LOVE THIS PLACE AND THEY MAKE EXCELLENT BENGALI dishes. The sweets are really scrumptious. Try kati roll and sandesh. You can sit down and eat at the restaurant or do take-out orders. I will continue to give them my business. This is owned by bengali couple Debjani and Anup, and the restaurant is named after Debjani's mother - Kamala.
