I had such a great experience at Kuku Korean. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the jjampong and it was so good and comforting. The broth had so much depth and the ingredients were fresh and balanced.
Everything about the meal made me want to come back and try more from their menu. If you are looking for authentic, flavorful Korean food, Kuku Korean is definitely worth it.

Came in at 9:15, they said they close at 10, and wouldn't take anymore people....pretty unreasonable especially for a “seemingly good” but probably fake reviewed resturaunt

Best korean chicken ever. But they don’t serve draft beer.

Nice little spot in LIC. There are a nice variety of Korean food dishes including BBQ and KFC. I had a chibap bowl that was tasty and filling. The prices were also reasonable!

Sundubu - good flavors. Rice comes in a metal pot so you get the crispy rice on the bottom.
Bibimbap - comes in a hot stone pot so you get the crispy rice on the bottom. Veggies are fresh.
Crispy fried wings - not the best but juicy enough
Banchan - comes with kimchi, bean strips, cucumber, cream pasta. All decent.
Prices are high but the food quality is there. Nice bright Scandinavian-inspired decor. Restaurant was full and the waitstaff looked harried.

Small portion and meh taste for $54 dollar uber delivery. $25 Bossom and $29 Kuku Bibimbap with no meat. I had higher expectations from the good reviews and higher prices

We ordered a bulgogi combo, a cold noodle dish, a bibimbap, and a soondubu for delivery. The soondubu had leaked through the bag and dripped through the entire apartment, and we were missing the bulgogi part of the bulgogi combo as well as the bibim sauce for both the bibimbap and the cold noodle dish.

Nice and clean restaurant but the food was pretty average. The prices were the same as in Manhattan, but there are also ~$30 combos with two dishes that can be shared with two people if you’re not too hungry.

Visited LIC for a couple of days and stopped into this cute restaurant for a late weekday lunch / early dinner with my partner. We split an order of the tteokboki, small seafood pajeon, a bbq plate of spicy pork and kimchi that comes with rice (we got purple), and of course banchan came with the meal as well. We really loved the food, everything was so tasty.
I’ll admit I’m a bit of a Korean cuisine novice and I wasn’t sure that I liked kimchi up until yesterday, and LOVED theirs. Contemplating a second visit before we have to leave town.

The fried chicken is so good!
Everything was so good… Not a big space but the food was delicious. Recommend for take out if you live near here. Will definitely revisit.
Wish there are more places like this — really solid food, fresh ingredient, balanced flavor, thoughtful preparation, nice people and great atmosphere.
