It’s almost embarrassing how much I order from Kumo. Their teriyaki lunch platter is unbeatable pricewise and is so tasty. They know how to do tofu and salmon right and the rolls are always fresh. It’s a takeout spot so don’t plan to eat in. Food is ready quick and always hits the spot.
Keepin it real out here in Astoria
Got a takeout dish cause it was on sale but it didn't hit....
Place is a bit depressing, sad :(

Ordered takeout from here and was quite disappointed in the quality of fish. The wasabi also looked completely off as it appeared to be a bright neon green. Would have been better off buying sushi from HMart and saved some money along the way
Amazing food

Astoria’s best kept secret. Rare to find a small, authentic family business with this quality of food, for this affordable of a price.

Very reliable sushi restaurant. My family gets the party platter and the noodle soups, and it's always enjoyable. Nice, friendly staff also.

First time trying Kumo and I’m glad I did because I will be ordering my sushi from here from now on. I’m not gonna lie the reviews did deter me from ordering in the past. I saw good reviews on Grubhub and quite a few ppl mentioned it on Astoria reddit. I figured let me order a 3 roll lunch combo and see for myself. I was really impressed. The sushi was amazing and fresh! Good size rolls too. When I would order from Sakura they would be bite size. I do like Watawa too but I can’t justify paying $10 for a simple roll. This how I settled on Kumo. I def recommend Kumo for a good sushi fix.

This is by far the best value for your money for sushi in Astoria. They also have the best fried rice in the area. I order from them once or twice a month. The three rolls for $16 during lunch has cured many of my hangovers

Great take out. Good with food allergies.
The food is very good right here
The beef teriyaki has no flavor. It does not taste it was prepared correctly. The fried shrimp was not good. The fried food was soggy in the middle.
