This restaurant has been on my list to try. Happy I finally I got to pay a visit. The food was freshly prepared and flavorful, really enjoyed the Acra and Pwason (fish) with sauce. I appreciate the Diri Djon Djon being a sufficient amount to eat with the food. Overall, great customer service, nice music, and chilled vibes. Will definitely come back again soon.

I found my Haitian restaurant in Northern Queens at Iliana's Bar Lounge. This place is a rare gem in the midst of a sea of Spanish restaurants. In Northern Queens, you'll find a bunch of great Spanish restaurants, but if you're looking for new flavors, a different vibe bringing the culinary arts of Haiti & the Caribbean, check out Illiana's.
FYI if you are familiar with College Point Queens, than you know parking is a nightmare. There was a dedicated parking lot two or three blocks away from restaurant.
Let's talk about the food 😋. For my first visit, I had to test out the griot (marinated, braised pork shoulder, and fried served with pikliz (a spicy pickled slaw) it didn't disappoint. My daughter and I went to town. We both pointed out how tender the cut was 🤤. Truly everything was a beautiful mashup. We ate everything.
The bar had a deep selection of liquors available Although I didn't get to drink that day 😕 I will be back.
The music was a vibe as I waited for my food to come. My server was Mary, who told me about the live DJ who comes Saturday and Sunday. I'll definitely be back for that experience.

Lliana’s will now be one of my go to restaurants. The service was great and the food was amazing. The food was seasoned to perfection and the dessert had the perfect amount of sweetness to end the night off. I will for sure be back & recommend anyone to visit.

I have eaten at Iliana’s 2 months ago for my mother’s birthday and I was pleasantly surprised then. As someone who is from northeast Queens, a Haitian restaurant doesn’t really happen in these parts. I was really satisfied with the food we ordered. Everything was well seasoned & cooked to perfection. I had the lambi with djon djon. The other dishes at our table were snapper in sauce and the mac and cheese. We also started off with some akra. Again, everything was delicious. Fast forward to Thanksgiving and I decide to go with their catering menu. I was a little nervous as I was hosting 20+ people, hoping they would live up to the standards I received two months ago - AND THEY DID. Everyone raved about the food! Not to mention, when I picked up the food; it was ready, packed neatly in boxes so it would fit nicely in my trunk. Mary; the owner & her husband Ricky; the chef, are the complete package. They have great customer service. The food and not to forget their cocktails, are off the chain! I also want to say that their desserts are also the bomb.com - DON’T SLEEP ON THAT RUM CAKE… Tastes like fluffy Barbancourt and coconut! Just lovely… super grateful for their amazing service.

1st time going. My friend saw the advertisement on IG. What a great surprise to get real haitian for that was so we'll seasoned in College Point! Every thing was absolutely delicious!
The goat taso was top tier. I took an extra plate home. I had the stew chicken seen in the photo. So good! For appetizers we had the yropical shred and the boulette - really as delicious and seasoned as something my mom would make.
I had the hibiscus run punch and Loretta, our waitress, gave me a small sample of the voodoo punch. Maaaannn... all I can say is fresh fruit juices made both so refreshing and tasty.
I'll be back much sooner than later to try out the other dishes!

Man… Illiana Bar Lounge is straight up fire. I’m not even kidding. I ordered the oxtail, a Haitian pattie, and the Haitian légume with shrimp, and every single thing was bussin. The oxtail was falling off the bone, the pattie was flaky and packed with flavor, and that légume with shrimp? Bro… that plate had me silent for a good minute. That’s how you know it’s real.
The vibes in there are chill, music’s good, people are cool, and the food tastes like someone’s Haitian auntie cooked it with love. If you haven’t pulled up yet, you’re slipping. This spot is a whole problem in the best way. 🔥🍽️💯

I had gotten the stew chicken, rice and beans, macaroni cheese , and plantains. I cannot believe for $18 they gave me only 2 pieces of chicken and it was both legs. I ordered 2 orders for my friend and I , and in both they gave only legs. The meal itself was lacking of some spice and salt. Was not worth that price. The rice and beans was good but 2/5. The Mac and cheese was definitely the star. I asked for sauce for the food and only received two. Even though, I dined out, I left a tip and that was the outcome… wouldn’t come again.
