I was honestly shocked by my experience at La Bakerr. The pastries I bought were clearly stale and not fresh at all, and I ended up with a stomach ache afterward. That alone is enough for me to never return. On top of that, the customer service was extremely unpleasant. The staff came across as rude and disengaged, as if they truly hated being there. Overall, this place was a big disappointment. I do not recommend La Baker.

My sister and I went got the kunafa cake it was stale. The cake was hard .. and over priced felt like. The Guyanese girl in the front wasn’t very welcoming she seemed like she didn’t wanna be there.

If I could rate is lower than 1 star, I would. The food in the case did not look very appetizing but to save us the walk in the cold to the place where we were actually headed, we thought we'll try this place out.
We ordered a chocolate bun and a chicken bun. The cashier goes in the back and says let me check if we have any and then says we dont. We got 2 coffees and the chocolate bun was ROCK hard. The fork wouldn't even pierce it. We alsl ordered the quiche and it tastes very off.
After telling the cashier its rock hard, she offers a croissant with tasted like dust and old fridge. Ive never had this stale food in my life. My husband and I both have terrible stomach aches after this and we didnt finish anything.
We initially asked for a refund after telling the cashier that the bun is hard but she said they dont do refunds. They should change this policy because this is straight up theft.
I would never say this about a business but this area can do with one less bakery.

We bought a cake that had milk in it. When we tasted it, it was spoiled. It ruined the taste of the cake.
Had a pleasant experience getting a bite between errands from here. The lady at the front was cordial and the Turkey roll buttery, cheesy and the right umami for my afternoon. Can’t wait to try their chocolate croissant. Will be back with the family.

If I can give this Bakery 10000 stars I would. They did my cake for my wedding and hands down the best cake us and the 200 people at our wedding ever had. The staff at LA Banker went way beyond what we expected. They were so professional and where we thought we were going to spend $1,500 for a cake it was $450 for a three tier cake unheard of. They came to the terrace on the park set up the entire cake and decorated it there. It just looked incredible. What a beautiful experience we had with them and I can’t talk enough about about them so to the staff at LA Baker your the best and thank you for the beautiful wedding cake.
