My Brother-in-law had his second wedding reception here and the food was very good. The style was very much like a lite beach fare served in a very well thought out manner. This place has a feel like you are having a meal on the beach at a vacation location, but the beach is a block away. The food was fresh, flavorful and the service was excellent.

Food was good. Chkn skewer was tender. Scallop shrimp skewer was as well. Both served over rice. $15 ea. Very sunny. Also tried the fry place. If I did the fries again, I'd pay the $1 for the sauce maybe.

We came here because it looked nice from the outside. After ordering, paying and seating down we got yelled back to the register. The guy said we hadn't payed, and that it was more than what we had already payed. We had a discussion with the guy until another lady came to try and solve what happened. We ended up paying more and had an additional item we didnt ordered. The food was good but it was too little food. The environment is nice but the issues with the cashier and their response to solve the issue were far from acceptable.

I stumbled upon this place coming out of the beach. I am so happy these type of places are still alive. The band LL Duo was performing and I have to say what a great talent the guitarrist/vocalist. I will be back.

La Barracuda is an tropical style open-air food and entertainment place. They are new to the area and opened last summer. It used to be a small private beach parking lot. It has a tropical island vibe about it. I can slow down, lazily relax in the hammocks and enjoy the live music, while waiting for my order to come. Those who go there with an instant gratification mindset, will probably be frustrated.The food and drinks are fresh and healthy in general. The cucumber blend juice is my goto drink on a hot day to accompany the food, and the tropical acai keeps me returning. Some people complain that the food is bland, but I find the seasoning and taste normal and healthy. Most food and drinks in the US have excessive salt, fat, or sugar. They bring the comfort in "comfort food", but open the doorway to a lot of preventable health issues.
