I used to go there 15 yrs ago and it was excellent cake cookies are fresh and amazing. Place was a gem. Went there today it was horrible. Cookies I brought were hard and nasty. They didn't even have the cookies I wanted. Won't go back !
Ill remember how it was when I lived in CP in the early 2000s.

Stopped by La Cheesecake in College Point and grabbed one of their cheesecakes — super solid. It’s rich, creamy, and has that classic old-school New York cheesecake vibe. Not too sweet, not too heavy, just really easy to enjoy. You can tell they’ve been making these forever.

Heads up: they’re cash-only, so make sure you bring some bills.

I've always enjoyed buying your products because everything is delicious. Today I had a problem with the lady who was about to serve me; she wasn't very friendly because my accent wasn't clear. But then Claudia arrived and kindly spoke my language, and I was able to happily place my order with her. I congratulate you on having bilingual staff who speak to us so kindly.

La Cheesecake is truly one of the best bakeries in College Point. We absolutely love their cheesecakes — rich, creamy, and full of flavor every single time. You can really taste the quality and the fact that everything is baked fresh on the premises.

They offer a huge variety of cakes, pies, pastries, and specialty desserts, and everything we’ve tried has been excellent. Whether you buy a whole cake or just grab something small to take home, the quality is always consistent.

The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and service is quick. It’s one of those neighborhood spots you keep coming back to because you know it’s going to be good.

A College Point gem that’s been serving up the best local cheesecake for decades! This family-run bakery is a true mom-and-pop classic — everything is made with care, and their cheesecake is simply unmatched. Highly recommend stopping by! Will be taking better photos next time!
