The La Cheesecake chocolate mousse cake and rainbow cookies are a must at our family’s Thanksgiving table. My uncle is sensitive to a lot of ingredients (high fructose corn syrup, gluten, dairy) and eating the treats here never bothers him. I am not local and I often find myself craving the rainbow cookies!

One of the best bakeries in all of NYC. During holiday rush orders, expect 1 to 2 hour waits if the line is out the door and around the corner. Best to know what you want before you come in. Lots of people decide at the counter and that's a big part of why the wait is so long.

Drove by yesterday and decided to try out some pastries. I wish I remembered the name of the lady who helped me (dark hair ponytail), she was so nice! I told her it was my first time there and she said I'd be back...she's right! I definitely will! Their rainbow cookies are the best I've ever tasted! Their cannoli's, fruit tart and cheesecake are amazing! I also picked up the tres leches. I can see why they've been in business so long. Looking forward to trying their rainbow cookie cheesecake next. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

The best cheesecake you can get.

They have odd hours and not always open during the week but they are almost always open for the major holidays. Get there early as there will certainly be a line and people can wait for an hour to get in but it is some of the best baked goods you can have.

The cheesecake is the star but everything is amazing. Some of our favorites are the Amaretto cheesecake and the rainbow cookie cheesecake. The fruit cheesecakes are usually plain cheesecake that they then spread fruit filling on top of as soon as you order it.

Aside from the cheesecake, the rainbow cookie log (yes, one giant rainbow cookie) is a must have, the bread is always fresh, linzer tart cookies are large and stuffed with filling, variety of size and flavor cannolis, crumb cake is large, fluffy, and deliciously crisp. There is really nothing bad here.
