La Cocinita Mexican Restaurant

I was very disappointed with my order. This was my first and last time buying from this place. I ordered chicken nachos to take home, and when I got home and opened the container, the food looked extremely poor. There were only two tiny pieces of tomato, barely any beans, and they didn’t include the avocado at all. For the price, the portion and quality were unacceptable.

This is one of my favorite place to visit while in NY. The smell is amazing, the food is delicious, the music makes you want to dance while waiting for your food. Unfortunately I forgot about taking a few pictures for the food to share. As soon as the food hit the table the smell had me almost drooling to I went to town on. I can’t wait to visit again.

First of all been here many times but first time doing a review because they deserve it.

Tacos are great specially“Lengua” which a lot of places don’t have it.
Plus I got steak and carnitas.

Quesadillas are good and tortas even better.

This place may look unassuming on the outside but they make some good food. Both the steak and the birria quesadillas were delicious and they come with sour cream which you don't actually see at too many places without an upcharge nowadays. The tres leches was definitely something that they bought from a store or something but it ended up being really good tres leches so I can't complain. I'd probably get food at this place a lot more often if I lived closer.

Fried tilapia for $16 ish. Super worth it. Wow!

Good food . I've ordered via Uber eats I always wanted to try the food out when I would pass by but never had a chance to. Now I had my free time I wanted to give this place a try overall best spot I've tried so far I've tried other around the area nothing compared to them. Other places I've been to tasted old or they mess up my order
