2 opinion: Every time I travel to New York I pass by this restaurant, last Sunday 03/12/2023 I was surprised that they had closed ?. An immense shame because the food was very good.1 opinion: I arrived from NJ, searching Google for its references, I arrived at this place, I ordered takeout, I have no complaints with the food, my husband was delighted with the dry goat and I was delighted with the guatita and the green tortillas, I don't give it all the stars because my surprise was that, back home after a 2-hour trip, they didn't give me rice, only for one dish!!!! (I ordered 2 dry goat and 1 guatita)I hope to return because it is a very nice place but I will not have this inconvenience again.

I love the food but hate the service ?. I didn't eat this time because after 15 minutes of sitting at a table, no one even offered to get me something to at least drink. I went to Tropical across the street; not as good but it had to do.

The food is very good always but service is very bad for large groups of patrons. I frequently dine here but in couples until yesterday for my birthday celebration with 8 other people and we were very unsatisfied with the waitress miss C. In my group we support small businesses & tip well but Ms C missed out as well as the restaurant in making a profit because we only were able to order 1 round of drinks as a result of the poor service. Maybe it was the diversity of the table because all the other tables received better service.

This is a small Ecuadorian restaurant in a Hispanic area of Queens. They have a lunch special and a la carte dishes that are very good. We sat to eat here a couple of times, the service was good but you need to be patient because there are short of people like in many other small restaurants. The only negative is that I will not sit in because the music is just too loud. I usually order lunch out which is great, for $12 dollars you get a soup, a main dish, and a drink. The main dish could be chicken, pork, fish, shrimp, with vegetables or salad. You can't beat that, and it is usually very good. I am very special about food. Only once I was disappointed, but I order here very often. So I give them a 4 because it is just too loud to sit in.

The place could be better. As soon as you walk in NOBODY greeted us. They waiters are always in the back laughing, giggling and flirting with each other. The are not paying attention to the customer the don't come to ur table to see how are you doing you have to constantly have to catch the attention. This place use to be good but it's has list the spark. BTW they cranked up prices prices, the prices are not worth the poor service.

As an Ecuadorian, I was expecting real Ecuadorian food! For starters this place was so loud with a mariachi singer at the door with the speaker at maximum volume! They also had a live marching band playing at the same time in the back plus the house music all playing at the same time. I was annoyed from the minute I opened the door. Then soup I ordered was extremely salty and my son ordered a traditional Bollo which came with no salsa how it’s usually serve and to top all of they gave us lemon instead of limes ?. We order two passion fruit drinks which came when we were ready to leave ! It was so sour that we couldn’t even drink it! It actually looked like a drink with alcohol from a bar. What a disappointment! Never coming back .Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money !
