Food is good last time i went only problem is it’s nearly impossible to get someone on the phone to order in advance or ask any questions!!!

I loved this place. Pre corona the vibes in here was amazing. Food always fresh and it's a nice portion. The music and the food went together perfectly. But since the corona it's now a take out place and the food is bad and cold honestly !

I order the stew chicken with rice and peas and fried dumplings. Lets start with the cashier she was great. Let's get to my meal I ordered, chicken was not fresh it was hard (taste like old chicken) the rice and peas was good I must say and the fried dumplings was amazing I order more of them. I tasted my friend curry shrimp and that also needed some work I was not pleased.

Yesterday I ordered food from Labadee Manoir, now called Cormier. The griot and rice and beans were fine but they had the audacity to sell Lambi (conch) that was burnt, old and inedible. I drive 30 minutes to support this restaurant because I have always enjoyed their food but was very disappointed that they showed lack of integrity to customer service by serving food that was inedible. I have been going there for years but they knew what they were doing when they intentionally sold this plate of lambi and I am so offended that I will no longer order from them again.

After being closed even before the pandemic, Labadee is back but this time as Comier Restaurant. Since indoor dinning has been banned from New York City for now, it's only take out. I ordered fried turkey with rice beans. The food was cold, stale and the was meat not fully cooked. This is usually my to go restaurant, but this time the food was not just delectable at all.

Ordered takeout from this place and the food was DISGUSTING and that's putting it lightly. Everything was dry. The goat was not only dry but the smell of it was so strong that it made me not wanna eat it. Everything else was dry and tasted like they've been sitting out for days. AND it literally taste like they fried everything in the same used up oil over and over again smh Never again!!!!

This restaurant took my order and my money knowing fully well they were closed and I would never receive my order. No one picked up the phone to follow up. I was excited to give this restaurant a try, but it seems they are running some sort of scam. It is very dissapointing to see the lengths that some restaurants would go to get money...even if it means stealing it from customers.

The food is amazing and definitely worth driving to no matter where ur at. I had the lo mein, veg fried rice, n j*** chicken, but here I only took pics of the lo mein. Find yourself there sooner than later.

I did not get one of the items I ordered instead they gave me fried rice. However, that was the best mess up I’ve ever tasted! They aren’t great on getting their orders right but they do have really delicious food!!
