The food was simply fantastic. $40 fed my whole family and everyone here said we got to go back. Thank you Le Cap for the quality.

I went last year, the owner said the menus were being printed. I went back 13 months later and still no menus, again they were being printed. Then we’re hit with $120 meal for 2 because, according to the owner, we don’t need to know the prices in advance. I kid you not. That was her explanation. The food is mediocre at best.

My first time seeing this restaurant on america and I wanted to try their seafood Legume.
I called to order a seafood legume and I was past around to 3 different people. All I wanted to know was what vegetables was in the legume. For example I asked was it eggplant? The 3 rd person sound like an older lady that told me with a very rude condescending manner that she was very busy and she do not have time for this . I said thank you and kindly hung up. Of course I will never go to this restaurant after this first impression.

Wish I could give them a 0. The owner (the woman) is so RUDE and the food isn’t even that good. They don’t even have a menu and when you ask, The woman responds very rudely. It’s a shame because I would have loved to support a Haitian business but she should learn to treat people better. Save your money and your time. They’re actually so rude, it’s mind boggling.

Claudy is the man to ask for at Le Cap
Excellent customer service, the food is in a class by itself. The food is made fresh, not sitting and old food from the day before. I rather wait for fresh food, than have old food from day before!!!!! You will not regret! 5 stars

They made me wait an hour for the food and the only thing decent was the boulette. The rice was overcooked. The sos pwa tasted solely like cloves. The salad was brown. The black rice was also overcooked lacked flavor and also tasted mostly like cloves. So basically my experience was $44 for 2 plates of nasty food that I had to wait forever for … NEVER AGAIN!

The best Haitian food ever! The fried fish was amazing and the plantains were fresh and delicious. Great black rice, and fantastic griot! The service was very good too, and a really nice atmosphere.

The atmosphere was great and homely, and the food more than exceeded expectations. The service was quick to get our food and I left better than arrived.

I chose this restaurant to do my field study project for school. Im glad I did.the food was grade A. as soon as I walked in I was warmly welcomed. I explained that I was here for a field study. I was going to choose a meal to eat and share pictures. The atmosphere was warm. I was told I could sit where I wanted. The waiter took my order and answered some questions for me about my food choice. The Pork and black Rice plantains, and salad. The Gravy wa exceptional delicious! I enjoyed Everything.Thank you for welcoming me into your lovely culture! I'll be back!
