I visited LKF Cafe some time ago, and the experience still leaves a bad taste. The young waitress was rude, impatient, and showed clear attitude throughout my visit. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unwelcoming. While the food and drinks were passable, the poor service overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t recommend it if you value good customer service.

If you are in the mood for Hong Kong breakfast, then come on down. The foods are always delicious and the portion size are worth their prices. I recommend getting the combo dishes, which is usually one main dish, a simple side, and a drink! However, it may not be available depending on the time you dine. I do recommend you arriving early as their breakfast menu is more filling and delicious then their lunch. Sadly, their breakfast time is also the most crowded.

This café is no longer at this location, but has now merged with another Hong Kong café. If you previously enjoyed their food, or wish to try their food now, head on over to Mahjong Café & Bar.

discrimination within the Chinese community is so obvious here. If you speak mandarin and not Cantonese, this would be the worst meal of your life. Horrible attitude from the staff, whatever we say to them, they would speak in Cantonese with each other before replying to us. Every food item would take 10+ minutes to arrive, even when it’s a cold sandwich. When we ask for hour food about 30 mins into our stay, we got a respond just asking us to “wait more, it will come”. Like someone else already said, unless you are starving and this is the only place you can find food, do not come here.

First of all, I love their food. It’s my go to spot for breakfast and afternoon tea.
Probably the cheapest HK style cafe in the area.
If you wanna order take out make sure to call them instead of order from apps. They have better deal in person.
But don’t expect too much for the service cuz they can be very busy.

Aside from waiting 20 minutes for a table, be prepared to wait over 30 minutes for mediocre tasting food. All this is accompanied with TERRIBLE service. Not worth it.

Went on a Saturday lunch hour, waited for 15 min. Reasonable price , service and food was pretty good. Compare with similar HK cafe like KST in flushing, this one is much better.

Vegetarian options: Vegetable pan fried noodles and black pepper steak with rice were good.

Super authentic Cantonese food in New York

Entering from the back parking lot, the bartender and the waitress instructed the two of them to sit at the small table by themselves~
The front desk lady has a bad attitude and a bad tone. She blames the guests indiscriminately for why they can sit down by themselves~
I feel uncomfortable after eating ~ I get angry just thinking about it
Poor quality training of employees

The service attitude is super bad.
In all the years I have been in the United States, I have never encountered such a disdainful attitude from employees.
