Food is pretty good. Unfortunately you can’t call and order unless you speak Spanish. This is America and they should have English speaking people working there. Not everyone speaks Spanish. For that I give them one star. This is America. Speak English!!!!

I wasn't even going to order because I saw the low rating but I saw the menu and decided to order however I want. Well let me tell you that the food was very delicious! and authentic too. I ordered a beef chimi and a pork chimi, both were delicious. The yucca ball and the quipe were also delicious.
My people, please don't get carried away by the ratings and approve the restaurants for yourself.

When they opened they started very well, lately the delivery's last more than 1 hour and a half almost two hours, I have already gone to sit down to eat and it is not so BUSY that a delivery takes two hours to arrive, at 0.5 miles, the service to the CHIKI's customer is terrible, they do not detail the prices on the receipts, the milkshakes that CHIKI makes are only MILK, the club sandwich and the hot dog are a ketchup and mayonnaise soup. Thank you so much but I won't stop going.
I had ordered cheese pastelitos, chicken tacos, and beef mofonguitos two days ago, however it was the worst I’ve had. I’ve been throwing up and my stomach has been upset ever since. The beef is mashed up hamburger and the food tasted as if they use the same oil for everything and it wasn’t fresh at all. They are overpriced, for one cheese pastelito I was charged three dollars, for it to have mozzarella cheese. I was highly disappointed. The girl working there w the red wig over charged me and tried arguing about her being in the wrong. Overall I don’t recommend, but there’s a cachapa truck on the same block that has been my go to for years and the food hits every time. Also the location I attended is located uptown in manhattan by 202nd street and 9th Ave

Very impressed. Ordered on Uber eats on Saturday night almost at 12 ! Food was delicious, neat , good presentation.Got the chimi ,hot dog, mofonguitos exactly what I expected from this place authentic Dominican style fried food. Definitely recommend this spot you want some quick food to eat !
