It’s our favorite place! My wife and I celebrated our wedding there. The food is awesome, and the staff always super friendly.
The ceviche was average. The hidden charges I caught on our check for the “sauce” on our ceviches was a devastating blow to an otherwise just-okay experience. Not only did the server attempt to gaslight us by saying we “ordered” the sauces when he asked us how spicy we wanted the sauces to be when he took our order (Seemingly innocuous question, right?), the server had failed to disclose that ceviche “sauce” costs extra. The menu also does not mention this additional charge, so I made sure to bring up the lack of transparency. It felt like a quick money grab, at the expense of building a trusting, long-lasting clientele relationship. Also — the receipt disclosed a fee for credit card use (vs cash). Strange indeed. This isn’t a cash-only establishment. Needless to say — We won’t be coming back to Bistro Punta Sol.
Wow wow wow wow this place is so freaking amazing the food is 10 stars plus. You have to experience this for yourself. I’m from La ciuada del pescador tell your the ceviche had no smell so fresh so tasteful blows your mind

The service here is amazing! The food is delicious. We ordered the aji de gallina and tallarines verdes and the aji de gallina was one of the best ones I’ve ever tasted, it came really close to how my mom makes it! The tallarines verdes were also a hit, my husband raved about the skirt steak being cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back!

The restaurant and staff were very friendly and they are really trying to be a fine dining restaurant. However I don’t believe the price point matches the food quality. There was nothing wrong with the food, it’s just nothing out of this world for the listed price. There are other Peruvian and Latin restaurants with similar dishes and presentations.

Service was good. Food was great (My mom who hates every food in existence loved it). We got the pesto (amazing), ají de pollo (pretty good), fried fish (amazing), and something else I forgot but was also good
