In an area with many great food options, this place is a cut above the rest. It's next level. I can't believe I basically wandered in, how I have not seen this mentioned or recommended to me in the time I've lived here is insane. Everything was phenomenal but the hummus and fried calamari were the best I've ever had of each of them. This place is a must try!

We were Wowed by the authenticity and deliciousness. Gracious and exceptional service as well. We HIGHLY recommend this for any occasion. I felt like I transcended to Greece! We will definitely return for the outdoor dining (evenings only). It is convenient to the airport.

Best Greek in Astoria... therefore the best I have ever had. Eaten there multiple times first time writing a review. Perhaps the first food review I have ever written but felt obligated as this place exceeds expectations every time I go. Food has always been excellent. Best grilled octopus I have ever had, salads are always super fresh, great feta! Grilled Haloumi stack is amazing. Wait staff and cook/owner (Greeks) are super hospitable and there is no pressure to turn over tables like many of the other popular Greek spots around.
In my opinion, not the best taverna on the Ditmars strip. The interior is the nice & the service was good, but the food was just okay.
The chicken souvlaki was a bit dry, the octopus was decent, Greek salad was standard, and the lemon potatoes were a bit sad.

Was recommended to go here by a Reddit thread for authentic, deliciosos Greek food. Did NOT disappoint. Ordered hummus, lemon potatoes, Chicken souvlaki, and the grilled chicken and French fries. I thought the lemon potatoes were so delicious! The chicken souvlaki comes with 2 skewers, 3 kebabs chunks each and they are huge. It also had a significantly different flavor from the grilled chicken even though they were both chicken dishes. Also, love that they didn’t skimp at all on the fresh warm pita- we ran out and they brought more. My kind of place. This fed 3 people, PLUS I had leftovers for the next day. Service was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you!

A hidden gem ! Came here for my sister’s wedding dinner and we were immediately greeted and welcomed. It was held in the back outdoorsy area which was great because it was private for all the guests. The food and drinks were amazing !I definitely will return just on a random day for dinner lol The service was also excellent.. it was a great experience for all and a night to remember! Thank you from our family to yours.
Classic taverna with excellent food in a casual place. That doesn't mean casual service or attitude. It's very professional in all ways. Love to go with a big group of work friends, Louboutin is very accommodating.

This was my first introduction to Greek food and I was amazed. The service was great as well.
Very good food and service. Not expensive and the portions was fair for the price. Service was fast and very reliable. We will come back soon. Don’t miss the liver plate was the best of all the plates.

Very bad food. The Cypriot salad, I don't know who told you that was Cypriot. The salmon was raw and didn't taste like anything. The lemon potatoes were only boiled potatoes, what a failure
