I ordered rajma and they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I went to pick it up, they made me wait for an hour. Maybe I would have ignored the wait time, but that rajma was the worst I've ever had. Will not going again

Dosa was awesome. Lots of green onions in the potato masala, a nice twist on the usual white onion preps
We try there amritsari kulcha
It was delicious

Visited this branch on a fresh Saturday morning before heading to the office. The place looked nice, and I was hoping for a good start to the day but the experience was a bit disappointing.
The parathas were just okay. Compared to their other branch (which serves really good food), the taste here didn’t quite match up. It lacked the usual flavor and punch I was expecting.
What made things worse was the receptionist, who was loudly talking to a relative on speakerphone from the kitchen area the entire time. It was distracting and honestly took away from the experience.
There’s definitely potential here, but the food quality and customer atmosphere at this branch need serious improvement especially when the other location is setting a much better standard.

This was my first time really trying authentic Indian food and I absolutely loved it. Everything here was fresh and the quality was on point. We had the mango lassi, the tandoori paneer tikka, samosas and the baingan bharta …. All delicious especially the tandoori paneer tikka ! We visited the south ozone park location which was more of a takeout kind of set up so the seating was limited but that doesn’t take away from the food though. Service was super friendly ! Cannot wait to return & try more dishes from here 🥰

Lucky Dhaba in Queens is a true hidden gem for pure veg Indian food lovers! We tried a variety of dishes—from the creamy mango lassi and fun strawberry milk bubble tea to spicy pani puri, crispy masala dosa, and comforting chole bhature—and everything was bursting with bold, authentic flavors. The gobhi manchurian, malai soya chaap, and cheesy paneer tikka masala were standout favorites, while desserts like falooda rabri and rasmalai ended the meal on a sweet note. With cozy vibes, oriental décor, and a fully vegetarian menu, it’s the perfect spot for family dinners or a flavorful foodie outing. A must-try if you’re in Queens!

Restaurantji Recommends
Stopped in here after googling Dosa nearby when in queens area . Strictly Vegetarian no meat items period. Small seating space for customers. Many takeout orders . Our masala dosa and veggies uttapam were good along with Ras malai. Very tight seating

makki di roti with mooli and methi with aloo gobi sabzi and saag will take you to next level.
Super good service.. food came quick . I love the food the only reason its not 5 star is because somethings sometimes are off in there food but other than that its prety good
Very calm atmosphere. Food is super delicious and the interior is so royal.
Delicious food! We love ordering from here esp when my mom’s fasting and only having vegetarian food for a month. Highly recommend chole pathurey, dry gobi Manchurian, creamy tandoori paneer tikka, shahi paneer, dal Makhni and especially the strawberry and mango bubble teas! Literally my favorite summer drink right now! And of course mango lassi! Both are not too sweet, which is great for people like me who don’t like overly sugary drinks. Plus they have homemade achar and catering.
