They have Marinara pizza for the plant based heads and that's all I can ask for and it's bussing.

Let’s start quick. Pizza was great Decided to give this place a try and drive out of my way from a guy I follow on TikTok who always promotes this place. Not sure if he works there or what the affiliation is but he talked about a honey pepper pizza being his favorite and I can echo that statement. The pizza was very flavorful, spicy, and just enough sauce. I’ll be back when I’m in the area. I realized they have other options too from the social media like pasta and appetizers. I was by myself that day and didn’t want to overeat, but good to know for next time. Only annoying thing was I had to eat inside my car. But that’s the best because that is what the pizza is the hottest! Also, great customer service for whoever picked up the phone and took my payment. Those things still matter to me, contrary to popular belief.

Ordered a pizza and 6-piece buffalo wings. The pizza was ok, tasted a bit dry for my liking and did not have enough sauce. The wings came with both ranch and blue cheese which I appreciated, however the wings tasted off and undercooked. You kind of just know when something isn't right with the food. Just a few hours later my friends are vomiting after also complaining about the wings. I threw out the remaining pieces. On the upside, service was prompt, no issues there however I won't be coming back here.
Update 2/23/25:
I want to share this experience as a warning to others. After eating here, our group became severely ill. When I left an honest review, the pizzeria responded by claiming there were no records of my visit—despite the fact that I ordered there last weekend. It’s hard to understand why they would make such a false claim, but it seems like an attempt to avoid accountability. Here's a picture of the order that made us sick. Hands down, the worst pizza and wings I've ever had.

I ordered to go to the brewery next door
Zero condiments. No silverware ,
Saw the man who waited on me at the brewery and asked for salt and pepper at least, and still didn't get it.
Salad was great once I mixed it myself and made a mess in a dark brewery.
Since they are a TAKE out only my expectations were that I might even get Parmesan cheese , along with salt and pepper. Servicing people shouldn't be difficult. And asking me to call?
Not a good experience. Spent way too much $ to have to manage this as I did.

Amazing pizza, great service and vast menu. I love Nona’s Meatballs, spicy rigatoni, and the farro salad
Amazing pizza. I always feel ripped off when I buy pizza but this pizza was worth the price.
12/23/24 it is no longer a cozy eatery as it is only take away and delivery. Thought we would sit for lunch today and found out that isn’t an option. Also they have no restroom. Ordered the carnivore pizza with only sausage and skipped the pepperoni. Very little basil lots of sausage but small crumbled bits that ran down and off the pizza as we ate it. It tasted good and crust was good too. Only six little chairs inside in front of window and heaters I guess to make waiting acceptable. It was good pizza and maybe 4.25 but not a 5. I’ll try again next time in the neighborhood.
Kid-friendliness: Just take away so not an option for children

This place is amazing! Not too far from the Court Square stop on the 7. The service was great, everyone that works there is super friendly. All of the ingredients are great quality which makes for a great pizza. The crust is thin and light like any good Neapolitan pie, but the sauce is also really good. I had the LIC Heat and it was great, especially if you love spicy. I would’ve posted it but I ate it too fast. They do a great job of posting what each pizza looks like on their instagram @luporossony so you know what to expect. Pro tip for the Sicilians out there: get the arancini too.
Will definitely come back. This is going to be really great come spring and summer cause there is a brewery with outdoor seating right next door.

A really good pizzeria that you wouldn't have expected here. I'm used to pizza from Napoli and the surrounding area (Campania), i.e. from THE pizza area par excellence. This pizzeria doesn't need to hide. Hidden gem ;)

Excellent pizza. I will not envy the Italian Neapolitan.
Got take out for Chicken Wings and King Farro Salad. The wings are just right. The salad is amazing. Definitely a hidden gem in Long Island city.

Ordered online and got there about 10 minutes after the pickup time. Thought that my food might be cold because of that, but rest assured they hadn’t started my order yet. In the pick-up line, it became increasingly clear that they use the “sigh” system for how they chose which customers to prioritize. Doesn’t matter if you ordered long before or after somebody else; as long as you sigh the hardest, your order will be next (with a complimentary drink, of course). I tested this after waiting 40 minutes and it actually worked. If the pizza was great, everything would be forgiven. But the pizza was somehow STILL undercooked and the dough lacked any flavor. Huge waste of money.
