Great happy hr for food and drinks. Sat at the bar, had pretty good service from the bartender.
Food was fresh and hot, chicken strips were a bit overdone, that’s why they look more like wings. For some reason I found the spicy soy flavor to be not as spicy as I’m used to from this chain. Clean and cozy interior. I had two of the cocktails- the lychee and punch. Both a bit on the sweeter side.
Incredible food, crazy long wait time for the food. Even the waiter said “it’s going to be 25-30 minutes, is that okay?”. All I ordered was a burger and the place was pretty empty. Worth the wait as everything was delicious.

All the food was amazing! We even asked them to cook tteokbokki without rice cakes, and they happily accommodated us. Our server, Mizael , was wonderful. so nice and generous. The food came out a little late, but his excellent service and the taste of the dishes made up for it. Everything was truly fantastic!

This is our go-to place if we’re craving for Korean fried chicken. Their Spicy Soy Garlic Mad Tenders is the best I have tasted — crunchy and very spicy, just the way we want it. We often pair it with the Mac and Melted Cheese with Bulgogi which balances out the spicyness of the chicken.
We’ve also been to the other MFC location in Bayside, but this one on Sunnyside is our favorite because parking is easier to find the music is not too loud. It’s a nice, cozy place for an early dinner or a quick bite.
Highly recommended.

The store plays mostly Spanish music, which I don't really like because there's no other kind of music.

I came here for three ayce seafood boil & korean fried chicken wings and man was i disappointed 😞 it actually started off good with the $3 drinks! I had a lychee sake that was pretty okay 👍 then the food came, I was excited for the snow crab legs, but it was NOT good. I think it was just frozen, not fresh at all, super hard to eat. It didnt just came out like a fresh crab leg would. The baby clams were so small that I needed a microscope to see and it wasn't clean. The dirt in them almost broke my tooth! The korean fried chicken was so heavily breaded, there was like no chicken. It was dry and cold at that! When it came to the table, it felt like they gave me yesterday's leftover chicken that has been left out for an hour. The only good thing I enjoyed was the eggs, salad and carbs (rice cakes and ramen) and even the fries were cold. Our waitress was super nice and sweet, so that saved my experience but I would NEVER come back for the food. I would come to drink though! I guess you get what you pay for, it was an inexpensive buffet and it showed.

Been coming on and off - once in two weeks for few years, it degraded a bit, first time i gave 5 stars, now 3… why? Food quality - seems excellent- but portions have been reduced significantly in lets say 3 years periodically ( i do eat same dish all the time) to the level that i wanted to return avocado salad with grilled chicken that comes to 19-20$ , i dont understand how u decide to reduce salad to children’s portion size and charge that much, now for the service part, you never know what u gonna get, in general not attentive almost every visit - and they manage to reduce frustration by being very polite and friendly when they actually come to serve you.. expect to get the food but having to ask for utensils (3 visits in a row), expect having your glass empty and need to wave when it is only 2-3 customers at the bar and 3 staff chatting behind the bar, this all happened last few visits of mine and i had enough so i will stop spending my money there. Overall, if you are not super hungry when you order and wanna sit with your laptop not caring about service, that is the place for You

It was our first time at Mad For Chicken, and we had an amazing time! The food was so fresh and delicious that I completely forgot about my diet. Hans and Jerry were also really friendly and welcoming.
Hans even made me a delicious Lychee Tini that I absolutely loved. It was so tasty!
