Maggie Halls is a gem in the neighborhood- truly one of a kind. I highly recommend cozying up to the bar, enjoying a cocktail, and striking up a conversation with one of the bartenders. The owner, Colin, should feel like a really proud boy because of the atmosphere and establishment he was able to create- a staple in Astoria! Kudos!

My friend and I had a joint 30th birthday at this wonderful establishment and there are truly not enough words to describe how glad I am that we chose Maggie’s. We’ve been Astoria locals for about 4 years now, and ever since Maggie’s opened we have been frequent flyers there for their delicious cocktails and generally good vibes. Colin (owner and bartender) is truly THE MAN, and when we met with him to talk about whether we should have our party there, he was so direct and honest with us and had us feeling like we were in great hands. He was also very responsive via phone (we emailed initially and he provided his number in his response), and was just genuinely so chill about everything.Colin and his crew (shoutout to JJ, Cam, Jesse, Kyle, etc) were SO good at checking in with us periodically throughout the day and took such good care of everyone. They even let us play our music for most of the day/night and I was able to add songs for people, which was really the icing on the cake (not sure if this will always fly, my friend and I like a wide variety of music so we made a point to play a lot of crowd pleasers). FYI, we did a bar tab and wristbands were provided.I could truly go on and on about how great this place is, and I highly recommend Maggie’s for both event hosting and for anyone visiting or living in Astoria to just go for a nice cocktail/draft beer and some truly peak vibes. I’ve also been there for trivia nights and live music Thursdays, both great as well.Major shoutout to Colin and the whole team at Maggie Hall’s–you guys are AWESOME and we can’t thank you enough for an amazing birthday celebration!!! <3

Nice and cute cocktail bar in the neighborhood with a great selection of draft beers, and a greater selection of staff named Kyle.They have regular programming each week ranging from live music, craft events, trivia to even food popups.The backyard is nice and open with a big ol game of connect 4, and they allow people to reserve it for events.
Best bar in Astoria! Espresso martinis are out of this world, the bartenders are amazing and hilarious.If you are by yourself or with friends great place to come.

Absolutely love this bar, one of my go-to’s in Astoria. The ambiance is great (highly suggest for a date) and the entire staff is fantastic. Their cocktail menu is awesome - their espresso martini is my gold standard! No food, but you can bring in your own :)

I've been living in Astoria for 8 years and have become familiar with most bars and bartenders. I've always enjoyed going out and having a great time. However, my recent experience at Maggie halls was marred by the rudest bartender I've ever encountered - Colin, the one with the long beard. His condescending attitude and unfriendly service left a sour taste. We won't be back until he's no longer serving.
