Absolutely an incredible meal! Everything from the general manager to the chef. Would highly recommend this gem to anybody who comes.
Great spot for breakfast. The hashbrowns were the highlight, as was the cappuccino. Friendly service in a nice atmosphere.

We had a reservation and the restaurant was CLOSED. I even received a reminder to confirm the reservation. We were in NYC for the US Open and had to scramble to find a restaurant nearby in order to arrive at the Open on time.
Great atmosphere and wonderful staff!

The location of this restaurant is off the beaten path with hardly and foot traffic. Luckily, if you are from out of town and want to get some breakfast or dinner without getting wet, the back end of the restaurant is connected directly with Marco LaGuardia Hotels and Suites, which is where the restrooms are located. We had some delicious calamari, entrees, double espresso shot, cappuccino, and the desserts were some of the best we've had outside of Little Italy.

Amazing staff and very authentic Italian dishes…especially their spaghetti alla carbonara. The owners have always been very kind to me and any company I’ve ever brought. I’m very honestly surprised to see a restaurant like this exist in the middle of flushing, but as a local, you won’t hear any complaints from me. The fact that people don’t frequent this restaurant enough for them to open regular hours is a crime. I for one am sick of the monotonous greasy cheap Chinese food that’s everywhere in Flushing. Every place claims to transport you back to China with their flavors…but if you want to know what Sicily tastes like, this is the spot to go to.

As new residents in Flushing, one Friday evening my partner and I decided to explore local eateries in the area and we came across a hidden gem – Magna Italian Restaurant – located on Farrington Street, off Northern Boulevard. (There is also a large sign on two sides of a building on Northern Boulevard which one cannot miss.)Upon arrival, we were cordially greeted by Barbara whose family, I believe, has owned the restaurant for many years and launched a successful comeback after overcoming the challenges of the Covid pandemic. Barbara was extremely kind and immediately made us feel at home. At that point, we knew we were in the right place as most of the restaurant was full, the guests enjoying their respective meals against the backdrop of a simple but charming room, accompanied by the sounds of good ole Italian favorites like Sinatra, Jerry Vale, and Gianni Morandi.Magna’s appetizer and main dishes were fresh, heavenly to ingest and appealing to all humanly senses. The meals were served immediately and gracefully. We spent approximately 90 minutes enjoying Magna and towards the end of the evening were engaged speaking with other patrons, sharing food, cooking, and traveling experiences with guests – some who were visiting from out of town. Magna enjoys a constant flow of guests staying at the many nearly hotels and/or spending a layover from connecting flights leaving from LaGuardia Airport. We encourage anyone seeking a delicious, traditional, family-style Italian meal to visit Magna. The only regret is the restaurant is opened only from Thursday to Sunday. Parking in the area is ample and neighborhood along Northern Boulevard is walkable and nearby the dynamic Flushing Chinatown (which is just across Northern Boulevard.)We will definitely revisit and spread to good word among our friends and new neighbors.Thank you, Magna, Barbara, and Team.Best,Ricardo.P.S.Barbara, I am ready for my next Italian lesson.

Today we spontaneously went to the Italian restaurant around the corner from our hotel. The ambience and the welcome were authentically Italian and we, as big Italy lovers, were very happy about it. The facility seemed lovingly decorated and the music in the background was Italian. The service (herself from Milan, as she told us when we asked) was very warm and attentive. As a starter we each had the spinach salad with tomatoes and fried bacon and organic salad with red onions. Both were freshly prepared. The bacon with the spinach was a very great combination. For the main course we had spaghetti with meatballs and chicken with spaghetti and tomato sauce. The Parmesan was freshly grated onto our plate. This meal was also really delicious. The tomato sauce definitely tasted freshly made.It was just too much for me, I couldn't do it. I wanted another dessert. Before that there was a limoncello on the house and an espresso from the portafilter. Very good. For dessert there was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a fantastic tiramisu decorated with strawberries, blackberries and whipped cream. Also very delicious. We felt completely comfortable. The beer was typically Italian.Unfortunately, and that's really the only negative point, the wine (Chianti) didn't taste good at all. I was hoping for more from an Italian restaurant.Otherwise a very great evening in a great atmosphere. All the best to you

This is a hidden gem, a really nice old-school Italian place, nice, warm, friendly staff serving up delicious food. It was our first visit, but they made us feel like we've been there a hundred times. You know that kind of service where they make you feel at home. Whatever you decide to try, I'm sure you'd love it. We're heading back for some Pizza this weekend.

The breakfast buffet was terrible. The food was probably purchased from the local stop and shop. I feel sorry for the staff as they have to do their best with an owner that is cutting every corner imaginable.

As others have mentioned, the menu is limited. There are very few options for vegetarians, but they do have vegan cheese for pizza. We had a margarita pizza, and the crust was charred on half of the pizza to a point where you could not eat it.The service was great, and the ambiance was welcoming g.
