Horrible, I asked my husband to bring me an Ice Chai Latte, and how disgusting, it looked like water, also he ordered a piece of strawberry cake and a chocolate one and the person who served him simply gave him 2 strawberry ones, if I could give zero stars I would, simply, I WILL NOT RETURN there.

I waited the absolute last minute to order a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday and Maison de Gateaux did not disappoint. I showed them an inspiration photo less than 2 weeks before the event, chose the flavors and prayed it was beautiful and delicious! I was able to pick up the cake at 9AM when they first opened the day after the holiday and crossed my fingers.
The cake was beautiful. No... It was simply STUNNING. It captured the color that I wanted for the cake and the simplicity of the design of it. My daughter loved the cake. It was also delicious (we ordered the lemon cake and cannoli; bottom and top tier respectively). It was also budget friendly. I got the 8" and 10" which was more than enough for sharing.
Thank you Maison de Gateaux for being a part of my daughter's special day! more power to you.

Ordered a fresh whipped cream strawberry shortcake for a birthday party after having it a year ago at another party (and thinking about it the entire time). Delicious cake, just sweet enough whipped cream. It was a hit with our guests. I can’t tell you how many times people asked me “where did you get this cake?”. I wanted a simple design so I added the rainbow decoration myself. Highly recommend!

Such a great local bakery! I stop in all the time for for a quick sweet treat (my faves are the cupcakes, cakes, or cake pops) and they are always DELICIOUS! I've also ordered custom cupcakes and custom cakes for events, and they always come out perfectly and on-time. Every time I've given a treat from MDG to a friend, they always ask where I got it from. So yummy and reasonably priced!
I ordered a Ferrero Rochel cake for my coworker's birthday. The customer service was excellent, the price was worth it, and the cake was delicious and fresh. Everybody was pleased with the quality of the cake. I definitely will order again.

Staff were not interested at all when asking questions about their cakes I was looking to buy. A few meters away, Nita's Bakery not only had practically the same cake for $15 less, customized and it was a hit with the family!

Best bakery in Queens!!! I’ve gone there a few times for different desserts and everything is amazing (their banana pudding is my absolute favorite). Recently, I reached out to them for a custom birthday cake and they completely went above and beyond. They were super responsive and helpful, and they ended up making a bigger size at no extra cost. Truly amazing customer service and experience. Lovely people to work with and of course, beyond delicious desserts! They will be my go-to for any dessert needs going forward.
Would not recommend the triple chocolate mousse cake. The white chocolate mousse layer was completely melted, despite being fresh from the fridge. The other layers were fine.
