In a city with endless empenadas and similar snacks, these are good. Not overly greasy, no stomach ache, just felt satisfied with a tasty snack before going to the Museum of the Moving Image.

Went with the baked chicken and beef empanadas to go. Baked because bae and I feel this is the healthier option. Wait wasn’t too long. There was seating inside but I parked at a hydrant so needed to take to go. Finding a parking spot is rough on Steinway. Came out to 14 bucks. Tastes Satisfactory, not excellent.

Never write reviews but I felt like this needed to be shared. I went in last week ordered 3 empanadas. The cashier is giving herself a $4 tip without my consent. The issue is not about the money, what pissed me off was she did the same thing to a homeless guy who ordered a few minutes after me. He tried asking her about she dismissed him by making it seem like he was begging her for money or something in Spanish. Thieves need to be exposed, and this establishment is riddled with them from my understanding.

This empanadas are to die for . The best empanadas in Queens borough and if are avoiding fried food they can bake the empanadas for you and that's a plus when you are doing diet . The prices are not to good compared years ago but now a days everything went up like crazy other than that everything it's good👍

I used to love coming here , this restaurant used to be good, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing. I came with my children and family, and the food was cold. The beans tasted like they were overly microwaved and lacked freshness. The restaurant itself was freezing cold with no heat, making it very uncomfortable to sit and eat. On top of that, the service was poor and unprofessional. Overall, the quality has gone downhill, and I would not recommend this place based on today’s visit.
I forgot to mention how disgusting the bathroom is as well just imagine how the kitchen is. Smh
I bought 4 empanadas, and the girl in the cashier just gave me 2 hot sauce. So I asked 1 more because I bought 4 (at least im not asked 2 more). She is so rude and yelling next time i need to add $0.5 for hot sauce. How come bought 4 and the sauce only 2, where is her mathematics rule?! I also gave the cashier tips but her service is so rule (she wore eyeglasses)

While the hospitality was nice. Their attention to detail needs work, especially for people with allergy restrictions.
Placed a large order and they mixed up all the empanadas in the wrong bags. Their solution, to give it back to the kitchen to reorder them in the right bags and tell me “the one you’re eating is good huh.” For reference it’s beef and I don’t eat beef for health reasons I cannot. Shameful. I bit half of the small empanada and brought it in for reference that it was in the wrong bag.
Would I return…. Maybe…. For like one or two. Strongly believe they cannot handle large orders. So I wouldn’t recommend it.

I have been thinking about these empanadas since I got them…the feelings are flavorful and gooey, the outsides crisp and fried. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that they had quite a few options to choose from without meat. Our favorites were the black beans and cheese, pizza, Mac and cheese, and mushroom!!
