This is our favorite neighborhood sushi place. We always order the sushi/sashimi platter and it never disappoints in portion or freshness. The salmon and fluke (esp the side chewy bits - iykyk) are my fav. The rolls are great too - a good balance of rice and fish (you know how other places can get a bit overboard with rice).
This place had very friendly service and family owned and operated. I love the price and execution. I am pretty experienced with sushi and Omakase, so I'm not easily impressed.Affordable and clean sushi with the right amount of rice on maki rolls. I cringe when I see thick rice... The salmon itself was excellent. Fresh and smooth texture, dare I say best I’ve had outside of Japan (was there in July).
