Excellent service ?
Worst food id EVER eaten
Excellent new caribbean restaurant, tasty, affordable and friendly service.
I stopped in here one Monday evening to check them out because they were newly opened. The walls are plastered with photos, maps, and other images that reflect Guyana and Guyanese culture at large. The little lanterns over the seating areas are really cute. The server was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. I wasn’t sure if they were doing dine-in service so I asked if I could sit and wait before leaving. She told me that was absolutely fine and offered me a complimentary caramel. I bought a mixed Chinese fried rice that was absolutely delicious. It had a smidge too much of sesame oil but otherwise it was great. I normally bake sponge cake but this restaurant had one of the best sponge cakes that I’ve ever eaten. It was so moist and flavorful! They have a lot of menu items that you typically wouldn’t find at other Guyanese restaurants but you certainly would find in a Guyanese home. The prices were also reasonable! I will definitely return here again if I’m ever in the area.
Two pieces of baking chicken legs they changed 10 dollars. That’s real joke I could have by hole chicken. That crazy.

First time going to this restaurant because seen the good reviews. Food was good than most places I ate from. I had pepper pot it was okay the only thing is that it was too sweet my husband is Guyanese I’m Haitian and when his mom makes pepper pot it taste delicious, however it’s never sweet. I also had cook up it was very good. Only thing was the pepper pot being too sweet but it taste nice. will differently be going back for food when I’m in the mood for some Guyanese food.
The shark was over cooked.
