This is a fantastic place! Everything, from the ambiance and the food to the service, is amazing. The ingredients are incredibly fresh! I'm going to bring my husband here next week.

Masaaki Bayside is by far the BEST Asian cuisine in the entire area. Beautiful restaurant atmosphere, amazing and fresh food, and even better service. Highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has not yet tried.

Food and ambience are wonderful. Maasaaki is my favorite sushi restaurant. Lobster bowl appetizer is delicious, as are the specialty rolls we ordered. We topped it off with fried Oreos. Highly recommend

My wife and I had a great experience at Masaaki and truly enjoyed almost everything about it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the space was clean and thoughtfully designed, and the overall vibe made it a great place to enjoy a meal.

The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was perfect and clearly made with quality ingredients. We especially enjoyed the yaki oysters.

Service once we were seated was excellent. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal.

The only downside was the experience with the front desk host. At the beginning and as we were leaving, there was no smile, no greeting and no “bye.” That lack of warmth really stood out, especially since everything else in the restaurant was handled so well. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional and took away from what was otherwise a near-perfect visit.

Overall, the experience was almost perfect. I would absolutely return and recommend this restaurant, and with a more welcoming presence at the front desk, it would easily deserve a full 5-star rating.

I cant imagine a more perfect place. I never liked tuna IN MY LIFE but this place has changed my mind forever. So sweet the staff and the food is utterly outstanding. I've eaten at many many sushi restaurants in the city/ LI and thank you masaaki for becoming my most favorite. They earned their place as the best. Come here or you're truly losing out on an extravagant experience.

My husband and I came here for a late dinner and our server, Kevin, was attentive. We did not feel rushed at all despite the late hour- just had to place our orders before the kitchen closed at 9:20pm (restaurant closes at 10). The food was fresh and delicious and we really enjoyed our impromptu date night. Can’t wait to come back!
We got the chirashi bowl (beautifully presented), ocean roll, eel kamameshi rice, chirashi dinner, and soft shell crab.

Both food and service are very good. We had the 14 courses omakase with 2 appetizers, 10 sushi, one hand roll, and one dessert. We arrived at 5:30pm on Thursday night and there were only a few customers at the bar table. However, it was almost fully occupied after 8:30pm. There is a municipal meter parking lot on the same block, so parking is not a problem. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant when I'm in NY. The staff and food is very good. Highly recommend trying it when you're near Queens.

They are the true definition of Japanese cuisine. The American roll was my favorite dishes including the duck roll which was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place❤️!

Had the best meal at Massaki tonight. We came on a Saturday night for dinner, 3 people. We had reservations. As soon as we walked in they sat us down at our table. We ordered drinks first which came right away. The waiters did a great job of bringing the food fast and gave us great suggestions on what to order. I got the sashimi dinner and tried a new roll with foie gras. It was the best roll I ever had and the sashimi was so fresh and delicious. I truly enjoyed the meal at this restaurant.
