I’ve finally found my favorite Taiwanese restaurant in the east coast. This spot is the spot to try if you want real authentic Taiwanese food with extensive menu items. My eyes lit up when I saw the menu. The owners are from Tainan, Taiwan which is often consider the culinary capital of Taiwan with many iconic traditional dishes and flavors.

The restaurant is spacious but it does not have many table seatings (3-5 tables?). When we came it wasn’t busy so we got a spot but we did see many people coming in for their takeout orders. The oldies they play at the restaurant take me back to my childhood. The place is structured very interestingly where it’s an open kitchen so you can actually easily see how they prep the food in the back.

We ordered:
- oyster omelette pancake
- mung wort kueh (4 pieces)
- danzai noodle
- mixed spice platter

The oyster omelette was the highlight! The bottom is crispy and they use a generous amount of oysters. It’s the most authentic oyster pancake I’ve had in the east coast. Alot of other “Taiwanese spots” don’t make it correctly.

I also love the mung wort kueh (hard to find places that sell this) - it’s a fun snack to take to go. It’s a savory mochi bun with shredded radish as the main ingredient.

The danzai noodle is an iconic dish from Tainan. Its main star consists of the one shrimp and the marinated ground braised pork. Although I would prefer the dry version but they serve the soup version here. The broth tastes very clear and clean, doesn’t feel like it’s dosed with salt and MSG.

We got the mixed platter - an iconic street food in Tainan is 滷味 (Lou Wei) which is consist of different ingredients tossed and braised in a soy-based spice sauce. They have a nice selection of Lou Wei options and the platter we got had pork belly, duck neck, tofu skin, and lotus roots. The spicy duck neck can be intimidating for those that have never had it but it is fun to eat.

There are so many items on there that I can’t wait to try. For first timer, definitely get the oyster pancake and Luroufan! I can’t wait to come back and try more of the traditional Taiwanese dishes. They also have frozen dumplings that you can buy to go. 50 pieces for $28-$30 is a pretty good price!

Cannot believe that after living in Queens for over 10 years I just now discover this diamond in the rough. Had the typical braised pork rice滷肉飯, pork meatballs in clear soup貢丸湯, and fried glutenous rice bun filled with meat & pickled veggies肉圓。All are delicious! Dreaming about traditional Taiwanese food all the time, I’m going to have to bike here from afar just to be able to burn off the calorie I’ll be consuming every time. There’s only one small table of two and a large table of six people… I was lucky went at off lunch/ dinner time. Most people walked in just had their meals to go.

Master Huang Inc treats diners exceptionally! Our limited sampling provided an adequate impression. Their offerings satisfy all requirements. The restaurant's title Master Huang Inc made me take notice. Made me feel special.

Truly authentic Taiwanese cuisine. This mom-and-pop restaurant is small but offers lots of variety. The owners (the son and his parents) might seem cold or reserved at first but are nice and genuine.

Highly recommend the following:
• Chives, pork and shrimp dumpling
• Taiwanese starch-wrapped meatball
• Stinky tofu
• Mushroom pork thick soup

Also, their Taiwanese pickle is a perfect complement to many dishes.

I've been craving taiwanese beef noodle soup since it's been raining everyday recently. Decided to try this spot and wow it did not disappoint. For me, taste is the #1 priority and everything was amazing. You can tell the beef noodle soup is cooked for hours, the depth of the flavors and spices were amazing. I will say the portion of the noodles were a bit on the light side but what's an extra few bucks for some noodles. This restaurant is already way cheaper than the restaurants the main area of flushing. I don't mind paying a bit more for such a tasting meal. Popcorn chicken and tofu skin were amazing as well, can't wait to come back!

The establishment was located in a residential area. A small place, can only accommodate 10 people. The food was very tasty n the cost was .moderately efficient. I will most definitely go back to try other items in the menu.

The amount of meat in this braised pork rice is as small as chicken food, and the store is often empty.
Is pork expensive now?

The price of meals in this restaurant has increased, there are few items, and the taste is not as good as before. Won’t come again

I recently discovered Master Huang, a new restaurant in town. While some might find the owner stern, I see it as a sign of solemn professionalism. It's heartwarming to see the owner working diligently alongside his elderly parents—a true family collaboration. The food is well-flavored and definitely worth a try.
