Where's the tofu pudding?!

Happy to taste the Taiwanese dessert. I hade taro tofu pudding. The taro was not very cooked so it was a bit hard. Portion is big but I think it would be more balanced if it’s less pudding.

Bad experience, I only want some dessert make with milk, and I ask the cashier before I purchase, which type of dessert come with milk, and he told me only glass jelly with milk,(and the picture from the menu looks milky) then I ordered it. When I get my order, only! one! Creamer, and if I ask more need to pay $0.25 for each mini creamer! Seriously! And I told the young lady may I exchange the creamer to normal milk, she said no. Just feel so bad experience with it, I paid about $12, just one tiny creamer only, and under the top is slush (just ice), not full bowl. NEVER EVER return!

I really recommend their taro series since I really enjoy it. The cashier was so nice to explain thoroughly through the menu items.

I really want to like this place…growing up in Taiwan, Meet Fresh has a special place in my heart. I’ll never forget how impressed I was with the food when I first tried it in Taipei 14 years ago.I love the concept of the food they sell, but somehow its quality just keeps going downhill, especially after their speedy expansion in mainland China it seems.Back to today’s experience at this location. I order a hot red bean soup, as I’ve been craving it since the weather got cold. When I received the soup for dine in. The soup was not hot enough, but since it wasn’t cold so I thought to still give it a try. To my surprise, when I bite into the red beans and the sesame ball (芝麻湯圓), the inside of both are cold!I didn’t want to waste the $10 plus I sent on this bowl, also the worker was busy, so I tried to eat as much as I could and then toss it away. Also, seriously, can you at least pretend to do recycling? Coming from Taiwan, it’s shocked to see a Taiwanese brand cares so little with the garbage disposal. Is it even legal to not separate the trash properly like that? So gross to see all the recyclables and compost and trash all throw together in a giant open trash can like that.

I ordered a takeaway. There was ice in the purple rice porridge and it was very watery. Since it tasted bitter, I guess it was cooked?delicious

During the winter solstice, I wanted to order some red bean glutinous rice balls with extra stuffed peanut glutinous rice balls. When I was waiting in line to order, I specifically asked if there were any more glutinous rice balls. I was sure that they would all be available before adding more.
The food was served out of order, and they had to ask for help before they cooked it for me. Then they told me that the glutinous rice balls were "all gone" and they insisted on changing other ingredients for me. I came here just to order glutinous rice balls, not to eat the other stuff you can't sell. The ingredients and money were not refunded. This kind of service quality really shouldn’t disgrace Taiwanese people.
