Native NYorker been to Mexico 11 times and I have always sought out great eats. I have worked and played with some of the best in the biz...so when I say this is the best Mexican Food in NYC I mean it!. I have been a patron and now friend of the owner for just about ten years now. The food is still Hearty and Homemade! Try all the Mexican dishes and even his french toast! Food is spot on for breakfast, lunch or diner! Enjoy! You cant go wrong here!

This my favorite breakfast spot on a rainy day, and they also have best coffee. Service is great and place is nice and authentic.

I randomly stumbled upon this small cozy Mexican Cafe. The Haab is just delightful with friendliest staff and delicious food. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order so it was recommended to try The Haab Grill Deluxe that includes their famous French toast , eggs, bacon , ham and sausage. It was delicious! The house coffee they offer is strong and with a kick! Loved their coffee! It is simple, welcoming cafe with great people and food. If you pass by you should stop by to pick up their coffee to go or sandwich. I will definitely come back! Cheerio!

Ordered the veggie burrito. The flavor was kind of underwhelming… and I was surprised to find broccoli and cauliflower in it. Don’t get me wrong- I like them- but didn’t expect them in the burrito. I did like the salad more, and it had more flavor.I will be back to try something on the breakfast menu. This will be a treat since their prices are kinda high.Other info: Credit cards are accepted.Parking can be a challenge on certain days due to street cleaning.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated and the prices risen very much, when I complained that the food was unacceptable they shrugged.. I left the food uneaten, tipped 20% and left. It's sad to be honest these guy were awesome a few years back !

Ordered two dishes this morning. When more than an hour went by I called The Haab and was told the deliveryman had left because nobody answered the door. That's a total lie. They sent the delivery guy out again. I specifically requested green sauce on chilaquiles, NOT red sauce. The dish was smothered in red sauce. I just threw it out. Won't order from them again.

Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in Queens.. Whenever I go always go for breakfast and it’s always so good. The employees are all very friendly every time. The prices are affordable. Bring cash if you can to save money.
