Finding the flavors of Colombia’s Pacific coast in New York was exciting… but the experience at Mister Cangrejo was a disaster.
The singer was completely drunk, shouting instead of singing, and completely ruined the atmosphere. It was impossible to enjoy the food or have a normal conversation.
On top of that, the place was full of overly intoxicated people, with no control or management from the staff. The environment was chaotic, noisy, and absolutely unpleasant.
It’s a shame, because the food actually tasted good — but everything else was so bad that it’s simply not worth it.
I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The food was awesome but the staff sucks. The service was not good. I had to get up and ask for water. Get up to ask for check. You need to check and see if your tables need anything. Not sit with your co worker chatting. Next time I will just order.

Today I bought two, a large bite was very bad, it was full of papa, arepa, pataconcitos, those that come in a bag, the meat was little, the chorizo was sausage, I do not recommend it, very bad experience, I will not buy again, they should improve the good portion of roast beef, chicharrón was three pieces small, very bad experience

Average food, terrible alcoholic beverages. I ordered a snack and nothing to see, it's pure patacón and yuca, because you can't see the meat or the chorizo. The baddest bite I've ever eaten. It's a shame because it has a good atmosphere.
