Visited this location and was impressed with the decor. Loved the way the interior is designed and also the setting. MY dish was delicious which I had with veggies and shrimp. The steak was good along with the dessert that came with the meal. Chocolate cake was good along with the green tea crepe cake. Came for happy hour and the prices were good along with the drinks. My only complaint was that the service was really slow and took a very long time for the steak to come. In addition, when the fries arrived, it was cold.

One of the best Restaurants I've been in. Both the 32 Oz Porterhouse and the 12oz Rib eye steaks were great me and my daughter loved it. Service was great, very friendly and great atmosphere.

UPDATE: ordered 2 chef special rolls from here on uber eats that were nearly half off. They tasted a little weird, even though I had priority delivery and arrived quickly. I was hungry and ate them anyway. The following morning I ran from bed with the worst case stomach issues I’ve had in recent memory. I’ll spare the details, but I got a terrible bout of food poisoning from Mito and will not be returning. Never going through this again. No wonder they were nearly half off. Shame on you guys.

Fantastic. Some of the best in Bayside I’d say. Delivery is great and in-person is great.
The crispy duck roll was very nice and actually arrived crispy for delivery. The Triple Three roll was really fresh and a nice portion.
In person, the restaurant is spacious with high ceilings and really cool decor. We’re talking huge reed lantern fish, samurai paintings, creative minimalist embellishments and mood lighting to boot. The music is low and relaxing.
The sashimi and sushi here are fresh, but on the expensive side. I do wish that the platter used to serve the variation combo was chilled though, as the sashimi gets room temp pretty fast. I’ve found that cold stone plates are great for this, as opposed to the plastic/resin they are using here.
Other than that, Mito cares about the details and it shows. The roe on top of the rolls isn’t your typical tiny orange roe. Instead, they’ve chosen a considerably more plump roe with a beautiful red color. Not overly briney either. Even the ginger, which is overlooked at most places, is given a chance to shine. It’s tender and has a pleasant mild taste as opposed to the super astringent chewy stuff you’ll find elsewhere.
Very pleased. I’m going to leave it at 5 stars because of all the boxes they check. Hopefully they consider chilled plates in the future.
Oh, and the bartender makes a solid Mai Tai.

if you like sushi id recommend not eating from here. the freshest tasting thing out of this place was shrimp tempura 🤢spicy tuna has a weird old taste. never coming back
this place fell off. when it first opened, it was pretty good but now it sucks and overpriced. stay away from the wagyu truffle fried rice, the beef was just regular beef but they charged a premium for it. It was type nasty honestly given how tough the beef was.
Great experience, service was exceptional and the food was VERY tasty!
Great restaurant. Great food and atmosphere.
