Miyama Sushi & Steakhouse

Stumbled across this restaurant in the neighborhood when looking for sushi. I was looking to try someplace new and ended up being really pleased with the service and food. Miyama has a wide variety of options on their menu and even has a bar inside. The restaurant itself is very nice and a relaxed atmosphere. Our waitress was so sweet and we received our drinks and food quickly. The sushi was fresh and our meals were overall delicious. Definitely give this place a try! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I ate here on the 3rd of November it's now the 5th I'm recovering sushi got me sick vomited over night And on top of that after I payed the lady in the front tells me she dint charge me the service fee in other words demanding her tip that's not how tips work so good thing I dint tip

I did not expect to like this place so much. I ate there a few times. Only ate sushi.

The kami salad and chirashi bowls were great. I was impressed at the quality of the prep and the sushi rice.

It's a nice restaurant but I often eat at "higher end" (eg. unnecessarily expensive sushi places) The quality, technique and prep were very very high for this price point.

The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The booths are comfortable.

This is a very rare 5 star across the board review.

I only ate sushi, sashimi and chirashi here. They have the standard fish options. The cuts on the salmon were quite good. The tuna for the price point was high. The yellowtail, escolar, snapper etc. were all very enjoyable .

I ate quite well for like $50 including tip.

The staff even remembered me and were so courteous.

I honestly love this restaurant, the food is soooo delicious ?. The food is fresh, tasty, beautiful, and without any questions, the flavors are one of a kind. The clear soup, hibachi rice, the surf and turf were delicious. Everything was great. My server Lily was amazing, attentive, meticulous, and very patient she is great. Truly superb!!!!!

I thought this restaurant would be like any other, I thought this restaurant would be expensive but it turned out to be very cheap, I loved the steak, very soft and tender. Would come back later!??

The sushi here are by far the best in the area. You would need to go to much higher end(and more expensive) restaurants to get better quality. I've also hosted friends and family with their sashimi and sushi party platters and people always ask where I get the food. It's from miyama sushi folks.

I always have a good experience at Miyama, but especially today! I ordered a burger and forgot to say 'no cheese'. The server took it back - I thought to remove the cheese but they made it over completely fresh! I was so grateful due to lactose I can't eat the cheese, and it's hard to remove completely. They gave me a complimentary soup while I waited for my meal. Considering they grind the beef fresh from steak at the time you request a burger, I was floored! And it's a very juicy burger, not lean, & full of flavor. The french fries are great, crunchy golden crust and fluffy hot inside. Likewise the coffee is ground fresh when you order coffee. Combined with a very attentive wait staff, this is my favorite comfort place to go.
