Great Japanese market with wonderful food options. Bento boxes, sushi, rice bowls. I had the MOGMOG Chirashi Sushi Bowl ($24) very delicious.

I was craving onigiri and found this place —they were delicious and the prices were very fair! I grabbed some extra for later ?

They are also very close to the subway, so it was convenient to pop in and grab food to go.

Found this little gem on Red book and really wanna visit it .Finally I went after work today, bought a salmon sushi bowl and something else. Products in the store are very different from other Japanese marts in the city, very unique. The sushi bowl is beyond my expectation, tasted very fresh and like it’s from a sushi restaurant. especially the rice! awesome!!! I definitely will come back again. ( i really want to try the peach daikufu but it was sold out)

I’m literally in *love* with this place. I only get one thing, and that’s several boxes of their sushi dons… my fav is the premium kaisendon, then chirashi, salmon and ikura don, tuna don…. Which is basically everything there. The premium kaisendon… it’s like being back in Japan… where fish quality is super high and a lot of attention is given to the details. Shockingly, today’s kaisendon had whelk… which I haven’t seen outside Japan… as well as several cuts of Japanese fish (like kinmedai) that were lightly grilled. If you closed your eyes and just tasted the food, you wouldn’t never in a million years have thought that this came from a neighborhood konbini. They also sell premium items like Hokkaido uni, several grades and brands of matcha/sencha/etc, premium snacks, and some ceramic items.

A little slice of Japan in LIC. Everything is the highest quality and sourced impeccably. Michelin star caliber fish for a fraction of the price is the best steal around. Super friendly staff too.
