This was one of the places my friend who moved to LA had to come back to during her visit.
They have the best rice cake and sausage (소떡소떡) I’ve had from a chicken shop. The rice cake is the perfect level of crispiness. The sausage is a normal Frankfurt sausage instead of the Korean ones but it’s still okay because their sauce is perfect. Even before eating the chicken, I can tell this is going to be amazing. They have great combo deals which are great for groups and they also give free Cajun fries (which are also good and fresh) a review! Definitely worth trying.

I would definitely give 5 stars if I didn’t have to wait. I placed my order on their app at 6:25PM. My pick up time was 7PM. Arrived at 7PM, server told me 5 minutes. I didn’t receive my food until 7:25-7:30ish. Kind of ridiculous that my food was not ready when it was placed over an hour ago. It seems they decided to or forgot to start my order as soon as I got there. The food was really good, hopefully they can address this issue so I can update to 5 stars

So many choices to choose from when you're in Flushing and this little place truly stands out. The food, the service, the overall ambiance, makes you feel like you're touristing somewhere in Seoul. Small menu but very powerful, they also offer to-go options. I can't speak for the drinks because every time I'm here, I end up drinking nothing but water because I can't help but to order Tteokbokki and it's pretty spicy (good spicy I might add). Downside would be the parking if you're driving, you either pay for street parking on Northern Bl or park a couple of blocks away for free. Can't wait to return and have more of their delicious varieties of chicken

Had the special combo with the yummy red sauce, honey garlic and cheese snowing. The chicken had a good crunch to it and was still juicy. Ddukbokki with cheese was delicious. Perfectly spicy and flavorful. Just wish they gave more than a tiny little dish of pickled radish

Absolutely spectacular experience, here at Mr. Dak. They had a special that included tteokboki, 3 flavors of fried chicken, and seaweed rolls. Overall, there was a huge selection of all types of Korean food that all made my mouth drool. The only complaint I might have is that the food took a bit long, even if there were only a couple tables. However, the service was excellent, never running out of water or napkins, and the waiter was friendly as well. I do need to highlight the food - every single dish was absolutely amazing, with a huge variety of selection while everything being super flavorful.
