Hidden gem! My daughter and I wanted to have brunch, but we didn't want to travel to LI or NYC, so I did a quick Google search and clicked on Nancy's place. Reviews were great, so off we went and were NOT disappointed.We were warmly welcomed and attended to. The food was great. The desert was even better.This is now our family's new "spot".

I really loved it. You walk in and feel the warmth. She had the fireplace on and sat us right next to it. It was a nasty rainy night but I felt so cozy and the staff was so welcoming. The muscles are insane. I can't believe I've never been there before. I keep telling people about it but they all knew already. She does catering as well you can have party's. Great place can't wait to go back

On a recent visit to this restaurant we were astonished to see mice running around the restaurant.The lady owner knew about the mice, as we observed her talking to the waitress after they both saw the mice scurrying across the dining room floor.When we brought it to the owner's attention, she pretended to be surprised at the fact that there were mice and her only answer was that she would let the building people know !!!.What a ridiculous thing to say !!....she IS the owner of the building and to have such an unsanitary situation in any dining room beggars belief.I shudder to think what is happening in the kitchen and food preparation area !!It was definitely the most unpleasant dining experience I have ever had to endure.There is no excuse for mice running back and forth across the restaurant when trying to eat dinner.Be aware of this situation and think twice before you dine there and deal with an owner who more or less, shrugs her shoulders when notified about the problem. Disgusted !!

I work as an events planner and am very happy to have found Nancy's Restaurant. Service, food, drinks, & holiday decor was perfect for this local architectural office's holiday luncheon on December 22, 2023. It was a relaxed, comfortable and casual vibe which encourages relationship building. The fireplace is a lovely touch. We used half of the restaurant and it felt very private – it is not a problem sharing the space with the other side of diners, because of the dividing wall – we felt like it was a private party. I had my daughter's baby shower here in early December 2023. She wanted a "Winter Wonderland" theme and with the Fireplace and warm atmosphere in winter it was ideal! Vicki did an amazing job with her excellent server, and the food was nice for a Saturday brunch. The menu was exactly as described, and we had coffee, hot chocolate, cappicino, and champagne punch. Some people ordered drinks as we ran a bar tab. It was lively and extraordinary because we filled the restaurant and had it to ourselves! With the fireplace, white tablecloths, holiday decorations, it was picture perfect. Thank you Vicki!

Needed a quick bite before the Islanders game. I grew up in Queens and remembered eating there in 1976. Very good food and the staff was great. Vicki the owner said her Grandmother opened 80 years ago.
