I really loved it. You walk in and feel the warmth. She had the fireplace on and sat us right next to it. It was a nasty rainy night but I felt so cozy and the staff was so welcoming. The muscles are insane. I can't believe I've never been there before. I keep telling people about it but they all knew already. She does catering as well you can have party's. Great place can't wait to go back

On a recent visit to this restaurant we were astonished to see mice running around the restaurant.The lady owner knew about the mice, as we observed her talking to the waitress after they both saw the mice scurrying across the dining room floor.When we brought it to the owner's attention, she pretended to be surprised at the fact that there were mice and her only answer was that she would let the building people know !!!.What a ridiculous thing to say !!....she IS the owner of the building and to have such an unsanitary situation in any dining room beggars belief.I shudder to think what is happening in the kitchen and food preparation area !!It was definitely the most unpleasant dining experience I have ever had to endure.There is no excuse for mice running back and forth across the restaurant when trying to eat dinner.Be aware of this situation and think twice before you dine there and deal with an owner who more or less, shrugs her shoulders when notified about the problem. Disgusted !!

EXCELLENT!!!!...it isn't enough complimentary to describe how great Nancy's is. My cousin and I ate here before the Stevie Nicks concert we attended two nights before. Being from upstate I checked on restaurants close to the UBS arena before we drove down. The photos on Nancy's website showed an appealing variety of food and the reviews were sterling so we knew Nancy's was a good choice. I must admit we initially were going to eat at an Asian fusion restaurant just up the street but being Valentines Day they weren't offering a regular menu, just a $150 per couple V-Day special. So having Nancy's as a backup we headed there. I am so very glad we did. To start the music playing was all Stevie as the staff knew the one-night concert was on. The bartender greeted us and shortly after the nice waiter seated us the hostess visited us. Having already perused the menu I asked about the mix accompanying the Grilled Atlantic Salmon (it contained ratatouille, a taste I really wasn't sure about.) The hostess was kind enough to bring a small bowl so we could sample the mix (delicious) so I ordered that salmon. My cousin opted for a salad and the Quesadillas. We didn't have to wait long at all for our food and man, WAS IT DELICIOUS. The salmon was wonderful. I asked for a medium grilling which is exactly what I received, the arugula accompanying was VERY fresh...the entire dish was EXTREMELY tasty. The portion was just right, not too big, not too small. Exactly the amount you would want before a concert or hockey game. The Quesadillas, 4 or 5 were the same, so very tasty and not oversized yet a very fair value for the price. The hostess chatted with us a couple times more before we left. Then, just as we hit the sidewalk I heard "Sir, sir, you forgot your card." The nice, quick to catch my mistake and honest young man who was our waiter had dashed out of the restaurant to bring me my forgotten card. I'm sorry but I forgot his name but whoever of the Nancy's staff that may read this please ask your waiters who might remember returning a forgotten card to a man on Valentines night 2024 about 6:30 p.m. and please give him another big Thank You! for me. To sum up, if you're looking for a friendly, comfortable restaurant near the UBS arena with a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food then look no further than Nancy's at 255-41 Jericho Tpk. They truly offer a "homestyle" experience and are exceptional in doing so.

I work as an events planner and am very happy to have found Nancy's Restaurant. Service, food, drinks, & holiday decor was perfect for this local architectural office's holiday luncheon on December 22, 2023. It was a relaxed, comfortable and casual vibe which encourages relationship building. The fireplace is a lovely touch. We used half of the restaurant and it felt very private – it is not a problem sharing the space with the other side of diners, because of the dividing wall – we felt like it was a private party. I had my daughter's baby shower here in early December 2023. She wanted a "Winter Wonderland" theme and with the Fireplace and warm atmosphere in winter it was ideal! Vicki did an amazing job with her excellent server, and the food was nice for a Saturday brunch. The menu was exactly as described, and we had coffee, hot chocolate, cappicino, and champagne punch. Some people ordered drinks as we ran a bar tab. It was lively and extraordinary because we filled the restaurant and had it to ourselves! With the fireplace, white tablecloths, holiday decorations, it was picture perfect. Thank you Vicki!

I had my baby shower over at Nancy's over the weekend, and Vicky was amazing with helping us out and accommodating the venue to our needs, we had a total of 46 people so we ended up doing one long table of 32, and 2 tables of 6 but there was enough room for 3 tables of 6-8. The food was also amazing !! I received a bunch of messages from my family and friends after on how much they enjoyed the food, we got the whole restaurant to ourselves and she was very attentive and even offered to let us to come in early to decorate. Was an amazing four hours and super affordable especially compared to similar packages in the area couldn't beat it! Will definitely be recommending Nancy's for years to come :)

Typically, I don't write restaurant reviews, whether the experience is positive or negative. However, Nancy's Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The cuisine is outstanding, and the service is exceptional. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit, especially after enjoying the Hanger Steak with corn.

Needed a quick bite before the Islanders game. I grew up in Queens and remembered eating there in 1976. Very good food and the staff was great. Vicki the owner said her Grandmother opened 80 years ago.
