Service was incredible. The drinks very tasty. However it felt very short when it came to the food other than the branzino. The The cheese was colds not melty and the crust wasn't flaky at all it felt like something that was pre-made in the freezer. Octopus the large one was okay for the smaller one was very slimy. The salad was okay no complaints. Being in Astoria for 10 years and trying lots of different Greek places. It's a nice ambience great place for a date but I'm not sure it would be the place to get the best Greek seafood.

Nisi's atmosphere is immaculate--all white interior and the sounds of beautiful Greek music. The service was great too and they were helpful to tell us that the lemon potatoes are vegan! Menu clearly marked to show vegetarian options. The horiatiki salad and the fresh galaktoboureko were my personal favorites. Food on the pricier end, but then again, it's a whole lot cheaper than a flight to Greece...Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available, but somewhat limited to mezzes (appetizers)

This place was absolutely AMAZING! The place is gorgeous, the atmosphere was lovely, the wait staff was so sweet and awesome. The chef came out to greet us and chatted for a bit about the place and was just such a lovely guy. All in all this place is nothing short of amazing.

Dined here twice, both experiences spoiled by extremely long wait times for mediocre food and sub-par service. Wait staff was innatentive and rude and orders were wrong and served cold.Go down a few avenues over for more authentic Greek food, better service/dining experience, at similar or even better prices. Honestly, it's simply not worth your time.

Nisi Estiatorio was an exceptional dinner! Went for my birthday with my family and the service and food were excellent. We started with the Octopus and sardines all had great flavor and a Nice presentation. Then ordered the Branzino, which they butterfly for you. It paired nicely with the Greek white wine Assyrtiko , similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. The wait staff were knowledgeable of the menu and great at offering suggestions. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud. Overall a great experience in a nice setting. We felt transported to a Greek Isle :)

Attentive service and excellent food, well prepared. Wait staff came by frequently to refresh our water and the managers (owners?) also came by to ask how everything was. Astoria has many good restaurants and eateries. Adding this one to the list.

Despite the short history of this spot it is a place anyone who appreciated good food, Greek or otherwise, MUST go. The service was exceptional and each appetizer, main, and dessert was top-notch. Not only will I go back again but I MUST!

This is my new favorite Greek restaurant and hopefully continues to be. It not only is cute looking, but the food, drinks, and service are wonderful. Both times my partner and I visited, we have brought different guests from out of town and they loved it. We recently went for restaurant week with his parents and it was totally worth it.From the time we entered, we loved how warm it was in such a cold day (they had extra heaters inside), and then the music gave it such an ambiance that I felt like we were in some Greek island. This, along with a delicious Nisi Mule cocktail was the perfect start. Our server Dimitra was very nice and welcoming, and so was the manager.Dinner started with some complementary bread that was warm, and olive oil/balsamic on the side.Tzatziki & Tirokafteri spreads - super good! ? - my favorite tzatziki is usually the one from BZ Grill, so I’m used to good stuff, and this one did not disappoint, but I was more in love with the tirokafteri (spicy feta dip)Nisi Salad - delicious! We all shared this, even though we knew we probably ordered more food than we needed but no regrets there. The figs in the salad are such a great touch.Spanakopita - I never had it the way they serve it before (with yogurt) but I usually get this at a bakery. It was sooo good this way! Just try it.Saganaki - I’m pretty sure we also got this the first time. Everyone liked it just like everything else.Fish of the day - opted for branzino, and honestly, I have never had a bad one anywhere (it’s kind of hard to mess up), but I will say that my partner who had ordered the lamb chops was jealous of my dish lol I didn’t want to eat too heavy and that was perfectPaidakia (lamb chops) - very tasty, ordered it medium, really well prepared, but I’m a fish person. My partner is a steak person and was still more in love with the fish.Astakomakaronada (lobster linguini) - surprisingly generous portion, tasty, and made for a perfect lunch when I reheated the leftovers next day (somebody else in our party ordered but I got to enjoy the leftovers and I didn’t have to take a flight)Mosharisia Mprizola (rib-eye) - perfectly cooked, nice grilled flavor, would totally havr this again when craving steakDessert - we all got baklava to go and even though it was softer than what I’m used to, it was one of the most delicious I have had around, and it made me want to go back next day just for dessertIt was Monday night when we dined in, so I’m not sure if this is the usual experience, but already have reservations for a popular time and will see how it goes. Yum!

Welcome to 30th Avenue in Astoria! I have been literally dying to come here since they opened last year and we finally got around to it due to Restaurant Week; $45 for a 3 course meal??? Sign us up! To drink my best friend got the Santorini Sunset and I got the Windy Paros. Both drinks were delicious and had a good amount of alcohol for $15. To eat, she went with the restaurant week menu and I got a Greek burger with fries. Her first course was a Greek salad which was a nice size as it fed both of us, her dad got the grilled octopus, her sister the saganaki and her sisters husband the spanokopita. All were good sizes and were shared with our party of 5. For the main course she got the lamb chops, her sister the biggest Maine lobster I had ever seen and her dad and sister's husband the rib eye. This course took a rather long time (about 30 minutes) so thank god we got the "first course." It was worth it though! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. My burger was juicy and just at the temperature I like it! The crispy "fries" on the side reminded me of Europe. Lastly we ended our meals with baklava. A little Disappointed that it's the "only dessert" we got as the other table got another one. Four people in our table got the restaurant week special. Also, I don't mind the staff being attentive but I also mind when you're breathing down our neck! I mean the place was practically empty; it was Sunday night. I will definitely be back myself with my parents to try stuff on their regular menu as I love Greek food. See you soon Nisi!

I cannot for the life of me remember the exact names of what we ordered but we had cubed porked, orzo with shrimp and steamed mussels. The shrimp was overcooked but everything else was perfect. We ordered to go and the wait was long but they were busy. Next time I'd like to try dining
