We ordered pickup and when we got home we discovered the scallion noodles were cold, not room temperature, cold. So we had to warm them up ourselves. On top of that the noodles just tasted really bad - like suspiciously bad. Do not recommend- very disappointing.

While the noodles tasted good we got extremely sick. My husband had not eaten for 2 days. I was instantly ill. There’s certain standards of cleanliness that are not upheld like cleaning the mutually used oil containers/salt/pepper shakers. We’re local and wanted this place to succeed, but unfortunately the low cleanliness standards combined with us getting sick made this a never-again for us. Good luck

Ambiance (5/5): There’s plenty of seating inside with a window to watch the staff make their noodles from scratch! The décor reminds me of the classic street food in Asia.
Service (5/5): Their chopsticks are unique with disposable front ends for sanitary reasons! The service was prompt and staff was courteous.
Wonton in Chili Oil (5/5): Very flavorful and the chili oil was a nice addition. It’s not super spicy!
Braised Beef Noodle Soup (4/5): The beef chunks were generous in portion but I wished that they had more flavor infused in them. The broth was flavorful and rich with meat flavors—it tasted very authentic to Taiwanese flavors. I liked the thickness and chewiness of their noodles. The table chili sauce was a must-have to elevate the bowl.

food was disappointing. got the wonton noodle soup with knife cut noodles. broth is not rich but is just overly salty - you can tell that they use some type of shortcut seasoning. needed the chili oil and vinegar to save it. wontons are just fine but also too salty. the noodle portion was large, which i enjoyed, but they tend to be on the thinner and more overcooked side. service and the interior decor are nice though i probably wouldn't visit again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
A Facebook LIC group recommended us to try this place when they first opened a few years back. It was good in the beginning but the quality of the food definitely declined. We use to dine here a lot but we slowly distance ourselves here because 1) there's better dining options in LIC 2) the sanitary level has gone down here. We came back with the family for dine in and ordered the HK Wonton Noodle Soup (wonton, noodles, boychoy and broth). But what a disaster! As my wife was making a small portion bowl for our kid, she found a huge bug lurking in between the Bokchoy leaves. We quickly sent it back into the kitchen and the waitress was nice enough to offer a replacement. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, it could've been a bad night, a bad shipment order of vegetables. So we gave them another try and ordered take out another night, when my in-laws came to LIC for visit. If I have issues with my food, call it unlucky that I got the short end of the stick, fine! But when my 87 year old In-Law came to visit us from Asia has issues with her order, then that is a NO NO! YET AGAIN! GUESS WHAT WE SAW IN OUR FOOD? BUGS! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THAT COMES WITH GARNISH OR VEGETABLES. How hard is it to wash the greens? I'm speculating the vegetables were not thoroughly cleaned and washed before cooking. Because there's no way that under two different incidents bugs and food worms were in our food. The greens were not fresh. They were yellowy and wilting with multiple holes which means they were eaten by the bugs or worms. Totally unprofessional and dissatisfied with how this restaurant is so careless and NOT attentive to detail on what they make for their guests. NOODLECRAFT DO BETTER! You set your prices higher than your competitors yet you put out food with such low standards. Get it together or a report to the New York State Department of Health will be soon in effect. Small mistakes like this will lead to bigger problems like food poisoning. You left a senior with an unpleasant and dissatisfied dining experience in which we use to always boast about since the restaurant is right around the corner from us! I will definitely respond back to the Facebook group and tell people to dine with caution. Like I said more establishments are opening up in LIC and Astoria. With all these errors, there's no reason for frequent diners to come back to dine at this place which was once an indeed Noodle Craft....

I recommend trying the noodles here. Even though they do have other Chinese dishes, they are not as good as noodles.

The other reviews are right, the place is decor cutesy and discreet outside, but the noodle soup is bit bland. The stir fry is however, delicious. The chili wonton is the soup wonton form nd meat filling, which i wasn’t expecting and wasnt use to... The friendly service was very welcoming and I felt good.

The chopsticks was cool, and theres two bathrooms that look like storage unit from thr outside. I didnt get to check it out.

Found this gem of a spot during a humid Saturday afternoon when lunch plans changed unexpectly. It's in the middle of a residental block.

The place is huge with plenty of tables. Whimsical decorations add to the fun atmosphere of the place. A ton of items listed in a well thought out menu with large and clear photos of each item.

The food was great and the noodle bowls were generous portions. Service was fantastic. It also wasn't very hectic during Saturday afternoon. I definitely will be back to try more of their dishes.

Comforting bowl of Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup at Noodlecraft. I don't think this place is the absolute best noodle place, but they're still fairly tasty.

Hand pulled noodle with beef was disappointing. The noodles were soft and not bouncy but the beef was tender and flavorful. At least service was good and staff was friendly.

We came in today and ordered Dan Dan noodles, minced pork dry noodles, and the pork and cabbage steamed dumplings. The Dan Dan noodles were excellent and this is a food item that I would return for. The minced pork dry noodles were uneventful and nothing special. The dumplings were waaaay too salty and would skip on them. Overall, a good place for a quick bite :)

The food is just okay, but 4* mainly because there’s no other competition in LIC. The “Hong Kong style” wonton noodles don’t look or taste anything like what you’d find in HK, with a high pork-to-shrimp ratio in overcooked-to-disintegration wontons, soggy overcooked egg noodles, and a milky broth. I wish they would copy Sweet Wonton in Little Neck and just charge more for a higher quality wonton noodle experience. The laksa is more enjoyable and harder to overcook so I would recommend going that route if you’re looking for a soupy noodle fix.
