This was some of the best street food I’ve come across in NYC, from this restaurant’s food truck stand outside of the World Trade Center. The okonomiyaki tastes just like it does in Japan, and served in the same style - even with dancing fish flakes on top! Highly recommended for authentic Japanese food!
Friend trying it for the first time says: ‘very good medley of flavors, especially the pickled ginger on top’.

Have tried both their Okonomiyaki and Modern-Yaki at different Japanfest events, and the food is just amazing. Highly recommend the modern-yaki in particular, the egg + noodles combo is SO worth it.Also wanted to shout out the staff at the stand for being some of the kindest people I've met, taking the time to help my family when we needed it, even when they absolutely didn't have to. You guys are amazing :)

Had the classic ($12) with fish flakes and both sauces at the Astoria JapanFes this weekend and it was rad. Wait was shorter than i thought it would be given how popular their booth was.
