Great Food Experience! The new owner really changed the place for the better. Overall high quality Food and quality service. The picture speaks for itself!
Great food I tried mushroom burger its was really delicious . Spoke to the owner great guy it's under new ownership he said .I would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for best burger.
First things first, the food was delicious. I would absolutely recommend coming here. I would NOT go off the online menus as they are almost completely wrong. There has been a change in ownership and with that a menu overhaul. I believe the new owner (I think) made our order himself and it was amazing.I will add that our order took a decent amount of time (~45 min) even though the restaurant was empty except for us.
Visiting from Michigan where we have so many Halal eateries I decided to take my family for a true halal New York City dining experience. Wow, Off The Bone, good meat. Had the Nashville chicken , Zinger chicken, loaded waffle fries, beef koftas, lava cake, and Oreo chocolate shake. Portions were amazing, filling, and spicy. Quality was so good we packed for our trip back. Native New Yorkers have an amazing spot on their hands.
Amazing restaurant, staff we're great. Portion size are amazing with a price comparison. Would try again! 20/10. If you ever need a place to eat and don't know what to eat. Would recommend!!!
The portions are great, the food is flavorful, and the service amazing. Also all the homemade sauces are mouthwatering and the restaurant decor is aesthetic.
Much better experience than last time. The new owner really upgraded the place the food taste much better than before definitely worth the price.
I usually don’t review, but this place was so good I had write one. My family is hard to please when it comes to takeout, but we finished our food in fifteen minutes with nothing but compliments. Burgers are soft and juicy, there’s definitely a hint of traditional Pakistani seasonings in it. Shawarma chicken is tender and the portions were healthy. The young man taking out order and cooking our food was very polite. Make sure to order food ahead of time as everything is prepared fresh. My only complaint was the man doing hookah in the back of the restaurant. I understand that it was late at night and no other customers were currently present but us, but smoking breaks should be done in the back or during after hours. If not for that, we would’ve dined indoors. It’s a shame, because the place was decorated beautifully with clean seating. Hopefully next week we can enjoy the bright interior. Either way, food was delicious and prepared with love, 100% halal, and my family is happy that we found our new Friday spot.
Went here for my birthday and everything went perfect! Staff was so nice. Food was delicious! I personally ordered the chicken burger which had a chicken patty I was blown away by. Food took about 15-20 min to make but I didn’t mind the wait cause it was sooooo good. Will definitely be coming back!
Me and my cousins went here for lunch. They got the chicken shawarma platter and another got the chopper. I had the double decker. It was all so delicious and filling. I was a little thrown off by the "chapli style/desi style" patty but my palate appreciated the spice. Definitely can't wait to go back with the husband.

We decided to check out Off The Bone. Looking at the pictures on instagram and on google reviews, we felt as though it would be worth checking out. However, we were very disappointed once we were there.First of all, the menu has changed multiple times in the span of a few months. Not just in terms of the layout/look, but also in terms of what dishes are offered. I saw reviews online mentioning lamb biryani but there was none in the menu in store. They only offer shawarma, chapli, falafel or burgers in terms of actual food options. They advertise crepes and had a whole collection of Nutella, but there was no crepe menu outlining the options. The prices also jumped a lot in just a few months. The menu is very pixelated so it is difficult to read. In store, the burger description says it comes with homemade salad, mozzarella sticks AND fries, but you actually get only one side as an option. The menu should say you get mozarella sticks OR fries… not “and”.Furthermore, we were given our burgers in a plastic tray. It looks like a to go tray that was split in half. What happened to the nice display in all the photos online? The food in the photos online are presented nicely compared to how it was in person (i.e. garnish, side sauces, plating vs to go tray, etc). Our burgers didn’t come with the toothpick holding it together like other pics. The menu also mentions that the burgers come with a homemade salad, but we only received one, after asking for it several times when both burgers on the menu state that they come with homemade salad. It’s not a big deal, but I’m pointing out the inconsistency in the menu. For the burger that we chose mozarella sticks for, he also provided fries. We weren’t sure if that meant that there are two sides (as the menu implies) or if we misunderstood, but he said he provided those fries on the house. We appreciated that but there was a bit of a communication barrier. There are older menu photos online which (looking back now) are clearer and state that you get 1 side, but the menu in store states you get mozarella sticks AND fries—implying that you get both but in reality you don’t. They should go back to the previous menu’s wording. The prices are way too high for the food to be served in half of a plastic to go tray with no drinks included. Soda is $2.99 for a bottle. You can buy a 2L bottle for less than that. I understand that drinks cost more at restaurants, but I think $2.99 is pushing it.Also, the meat isn’t just a burger patty. It’s definitely a chapli patty because it contains a masala taste to it which isn’t present in regular burgers. You could also see the chili flakes and other bits in the flattened patty. Unless someone orders a chapli themed burger, the patty should not be chapli. The brown munde burger was drenched in hot sauce… giving it an artificial taste. The sauces drizzled on top of the bun make it look nice, but eating it was an absolute disaster. The sauce gets all over your fingers and the bread slips.Unfortunately, immediately after, we both had stomach aches and made multiple uncomfortable trips to the restroom for the rest of the day. Sorry for the TMI.The menu needs to be edited for clarity and consistency. The customer service needs to be worked on. We waited a while for someone to greet us and take our order, but nobody came so I went down to place our order. The guy working there barely spoke english, so he didn’t know how to answer any of our menu questions.TL;DRDo you really want to pay $17 for a chapli patty drenched in hot sauce with a side of fries? No, thank you. Very disappointed!
This was by far such a disappointment. We ordered multiple items but this was mine. They ran out of french fries which was astonishing considering every menu item has fries as a side. So they substituted mozzarella sticks that tasted like it was fried in old oil. It was not good. Although the sauces are okay I definitely don’t like my food being drenched in especially when the portions were off compared to what was being advertised. Definitely was not a pleasant/memorable experience.
100% Halal! The restaurant setup is really nice and clean. The beef Chapli platter was good but the chicken shawarma was so/so. The sauce flavors didn’t really stand out to me. The customer service was amazing. They didn’t have any desserts available at my time. Def recommend a visit here.
Sorry for being late for the review of this beautiful desi halal restaurant. Firstly I want to thank the owner for choosing the color from his flag for this beautiful restaurant. The experience was very nice. Restaurant & the restroom was clean. Love the green feeling of the restaurant a lot. Now for the food part it was great, but one surprising thing I faced when ordered bubble tea & got a mango drink. I also pointed that out & got the response was ‘that’s how we make ours’b I wished I have said it then but I am saying it now; U can’t have bubble tea without the ingredients which makes the item called bubble tea! Hope he considers my opinion & add the real bubble tea. I told a lot of people about this restaurant, hope he got some new customers. Also Including some pictures just to show how beautiful it is. Hope in time the food & the vibe still stays great. Thank you for the hospitality.
The brown munde burger has all the meat variety and a big portion size. They claim its spicy but if you desi, that spice nothing.
