I used to go into the city for halal then by richmondhill/glendale. one night after work i decided to try essa's chicken over rice by qcm... 10$... that was 2021 best decision ive made and price has stayed exactly the same from when i first went there till now, not only is his chicken seasoned great but he blesses you with a perfect mix of veggies, fries and one falafel(if thats what ur lookin for but if u a plane jane then he'll bless ya wit that to. His green sauce...

Essa and his team always got me right. Affordable price, generous portions, and most importantly, amazing taste. Most carts only give you the side of salad, but here, you get salad, pita bread, fries and falafel. They're open late as well, and you already know those late night meals just hit different. I might be Asian, but this is like a childhood meal for me. Inshallah

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, packed generously with toppings. But also, the man is seriously the sweetest person ever, his attitude is enough to make it worth it. So underrated, this cart deserves everything and more!
