Stopped by Pan Bao 66 for a quick bite and the pork fried buns did not disappoint — crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Super casual pick-up-and-go spot, but absolutely worth a stop while in Flushing!
very delicious pan fried soup dumpling and very cheap! it’s located inside New World mall eatery. The actual name of the restaurant is different so it was hard to find. The eatery cafeteria was very crowded ahd no AC blowing.
There's a whole bunch of spots to eat in New World Mall, but this is one of our favorite stalls to get pan-fried pork buns! They're Shanghainese sheng jian baos, filled with hot soup. They’re juicy, flavorful, filling, and freshly made in front of you. I love seeing that huge pan of rotating buns as well. While the top is soft and fluffy, the bottom is crispy, crunchy, and toasted. You can enjoy the soupy pork bun with vinegar, chili oil, or just by itself. Eat these...
