I’m really disappointed with my recent experience here. I believe the woman I spoke to was the manager, and she was extremely rude when I simply asked about my order. She responded with an attitude, saying, “Oh, you gotta wait, I’ll tell you when,” which was completely uncalled for. I had already been waiting over 23 minutes, and during that time, I saw other customers—who ordered after me—being served before me. I used to really like this place, but lately the customer service has gone downhill. The staff act like they’re better than the customers, and it’s honestly unacceptable. This kind of treatment makes it hard to want to come back.

This panera is located at a hospital. The manager is extremely nasty. They made a mistake with my order and refused to accept their mistake. I will never go back to any panera again. On top of that the food is not fresh. Horrible experience.

There is no service. If you want something that is in the display case right in front of you you have to scroll through a screen to order it. Once you place your order (no receipt provided) your name is printed in 1 inch page so inappropriately for everyone to see sitting on the counter. It is so sad that this establishment represents the only option for food in the hospital - it’s a heartless space with user inefficiency and while I was there for 10 minutes, three people walked out, not wanting to deal with the screens. Note all the workers were changing shifts when I was there on one of my last visits and I overheard one girl say to the other, why should we come in on time and we’re not even treated as necessary.

This is one the best hospitals clean safe & friendly staff Unfortunately the Panera Bread inside offers horrible customer service Starting with the Manager Dery I was in disbelief at how rude mean and grouchy she was close to 8am on a Monday Morning, so I walked away and decided to place my order on the kiosk to avoid her rudeness. As I’m placing my order a lady goes up to her and asks for the hot latte she ordered not a Frappuccino.. the manager got nasty with her and the customer was getting mad saying why are you so nasty with customers. The menu had food that the kitchen did not have the sauce that went with it. The counter all dirty with No napkins No sugar , The worst part is the employees working making food all looked so sad & tensed up . This is Abuse No one should ever go to work to be putting up with any one’s labor Abuse because of a So called title of Manager or supervisor Respect is earned. & Given . This Person so called Manager should be fired . They think they are untouchable. Bad service means Bad management!!!!!! I stayed in hospital 5 days at that point I was just ordering food from close by eatery’s.

This was my first time entering a Panera at hospital lij where I was family member of patient in lij Panera. Manager Deri Ramlakhan was very rude , not professional yelling on me in front of all other costumers that I am not allow to use disposable cup from kosher room and I have to pay for hot water. What did she think I will not pay ?! I paid for hot water and showed to another male manager that was very helpful ,he gave it to me phone number that I can file a complaint, called twice -no answer. Hopefully all reviews will help to improve costumer service at LIJ Panera. Rude people can not work at hospital especially with family members that go through the difficult time with their loved ones.

Ordered a strawberry poppyseed chicken salad yesterday, paid full price. Only received half of it with no strawberries, no blueberries, & yellow inedible lettuce.

I’d give 1 star only because some of the managers here are cool unlike to General manager and the lady very rude , vulgar language, no respect for your work ethic which is how they are with themselves. I expected nothing so I’m not upset but the place is nice and the Team Lead staff are great. I did like the free lunch tho so yeah but there’s no excuse for bothering innocent people minding there business trying to make a living especially if they care about there work and customers coming from a Panera employee that’s been here for a month and another location for 6 months.

If you enjoy an expensive cup of hot water with a splash of coffee flavor in the morning, come to this Panera. The coffee bar essentials and milk provisions is often depleted, and the station consistently is undermanned.

The worst Panera Bread experience I ever had in this location..manger was so rude and mean . He doesn’t have minimum politeness in his mouth. Me and my family used to go there for breakfast for a long time but never had any issues before. I think company should check on their employees who ruining the image of Panera Bread.

Man I don’t usually write reviews but that hot chocolate made me wanna throw it out. It didn’t even taste like chocolate. It tasted like hot water and milk, not a lick of chocolate. First time trying Panera bread and it wasn’t good. Had their limited time cheesesteak and it was mid af.
